Following on from your last post, how would you like to see us line up in round 1 (assuming Naitanui and JK are fit)?

Would like to see something along the lines of this for Round 1 as it currently stands.


Disappointing to hear Ah Chee is ruled out by injury now. His absence reduces our rotational options substantially.

With that in mind, Lecras retains a rotational position as Rioli and Ryan can be expected to fatigue early.

Jetta in defence as in the recent JLT match.

Vardy selected as understudy to Naitanui.

Despite his poor form Darling keeps a place as both Naitanui and Kennedy even if fit will be on reduced minutes and an extra tall will be necessary to carry the load.

Venables listed on the bench, but it could be any of the midfield options available to provide rotations.

In saying that he is a raging bull might not be built like a Ricciuto type player but he is all hardness.

He was on one of those Eagle Vision videos either last year or the year before discussing how the Eagles had decided to try and run some blood tests to see why he couldn't gain bulk. He's obviously got "problems" in that area.

I could give him some expert advice; minimum 3 beers with dinner every night and you'll be on your way.

At that height with his game style, I'd just love if he could put on another 5-8kgs of muscle.

Ainsworth appeals to me to be the unassuming, quiet achiever.

Looks like those one of those kids who performs solidly at a level, moves up the next level and raises the bar on his own performance and so on. Looks like someone who has the right attitude, desire and work ethic to succeed whereas some more talented individuals get found out when 'work' is required.
