Suprised Nelson and M Allen are not getting a gig if Shuey and Yeo are playing on limited miniutes.

Interesting that they are looking at Oscar as the stay at home forward with Brander being the one that roams. He also hinted Cameron might get a gig tomorrow.

From what I've seen of Nelson in games last year I don't understand the pre season hype by some on here. He seems an average player in all areas. I'd expect Watson to overtake him if he hasn't already but I could be wrong.
Yes, a great cross-section of our younger and fringe players, yet no Ahchee?
What's the story, not in this JLT..maybe the next one, which will feature a more senior line up no doubt, or seniors getting more minutes.
That’s not fair on SteveNo Smith is interesting
All i keep hearing from the club about nelson is he has some of the best skills on our list . TBH I have never seen them on display in a game for WCE or wafl . His tank has always been an issue .I dont disagree with Nelson's averageness, but Watson has shown even less, and is 5 months older. Watson's hype is even more baseless. I hope he proves me wrong and kills it, but I am not gonna hold my breath.
Nic Nat’s taps will help massively.Think this 6-6-6 is going to suit us very well.. up forward at least. Shame JK isn’t in his prime as if definitely see him putting up an 80 or 90 with the amount of space the forwards are getting. Mid and back might be a separate issue. Not sure how our backs will stand up with it coming in so quick from the centre. After last year though, I’d back our mids to at least half the contest possibly even win it as there’s so much time and space out the back of the bounce. Still nervous how our entire team will go 1 on 1 though, as the defence is built on a total team defence rather than beating your direct opponent..
Given he doesn’t get huge possessions “a few shoddy disposals” is reason enough tp put him well behind Nelson at this stageWatson has never debuted yet but if you want to compare last year's pre season action for both I would say Watson was more impressive than Nelson. If it wasn't for a few shoddy disposals he actually showed a bit of poise. Time will tell.
I guess those who have been to training and match simulations/ intra club this year would be more qualified to comment.
Time to KarmichaelGame day bitches FFS
With watson i find his disposal is more out of tiredness/ gets lazy as the quarter goes on . He normally starts games/quarters off well but then is prone to wellinghamesk poor disposal . Not fluffing his kicks just decision making and exicution .Given he doesn’t get huge possessions “a few shoddy disposals” is reason enough tp put him well behind Nelson at this stage
Bit surprised Cameron getting. Gig ahead of someone like Allen and rotham.
