Snowden is being disingenuous. Rogan absolutely holds himself up as a source of health advice. Why publish his Covid treatment regimen? Why sell health supplements?

I don't think he should be kicked off, but also if an artist doesn't want to share the platform - a big tech firm that pays artists a pittance so they can shovel tens of millions into the pockets of Harry and Megan - that's their prerogative.

What a load of rubbish. He always makes the point that whatever he is talking about worked for him in his case. Yes he will recommend people should try certain things but everything he is recommending is legal and often used by millions of others. The publishing of his covid treatment was a treatment prescribed to him by his doctor, you know an actual medical professional and it worked for him so he shared it. I also shared my covid experience with others just as pretty much anyone would.

In regards to health supplements you do realise its not Joe brewing them up in a pot? Once again actual professionals and he has got himself involved because given his life its clearly something he thinks about. I'd say a celebrity pushing supplements is a lot less shit than those pushing alcohol or sports stars pushing their child made sports gear.

I think Seder would be willing to talk to Rogan, though. Jimmy Dore is another one who plays into the anti vax grift and same with Russell Brand. Sam Harris is the only one of the IDW who hasn’t sold out to that bullshit.

Cenk is a dick but is he really any worse than Alex Jones? I don’t think so.

No, but I think most of Rogan’s fanbase are right leaning and put too much emphasis into this culture war distraction bullshit, and place too much value on chest beating machismo.

There’s this quote about how the “left has gotten PC so I decided to stop caring about the economy, environment, healthcare, justice, human rights, and climate.” That’s what Rogan is like. They flog a dead horse. Too much of my generation, including left wingers, are focusing on sh*t that doesn’t matter.

It is probably more JR doesn't want to talk to Seder. Why would he? He gains nothing from it.

Cenk is a boring fat grifter. Jones at least despite his whacko ways can be entertaining. Andrew Schulz Flagrant 2 had him on for that very reason not that long ago.

I'd say JR has a very mixed fanbase. Disingenuous to say most of his fanbase are a certain type of person because he draws in fans from all different places from his working journey. Yes the majority are most likely male but so what, men can have their own stuff too and if they want to deliver it in a certain masculine way then fine.

Given what generation Rogan falls into its no surprise he's the way he is. He comes from a generation that is very self reliant and doesn't give a **** really what you think of them.

The shit that matters to the vast majority of people is having a job, paying the bills and raising a family. They have no time for the ridiculous.

Seriously though, Rogan cheered on Texas going red and then he tried to act like he didn’t care and Tim Dillon sarcastically said, “yeah it really sounds like you don’t care.”

And recently Rogan said Tucker Carlson does nuanced and fair reporting. Tucker. Carlson. Anyone who can’t see the right wing bias by now is deluding themselves.

Why don’t I like Rogan? He doesn’t really criticise Republicans anymore unlike Sam Harris; it’s all about how bad Democrats are. It’s obvious he’s pandering to his Texan friends and anti covid nutters. Even Bill Burr can see Rogan’s bias. He’s definitely changed since the Spotify deal.
So you don't like him because he MAY have a differing political opinion to you that approximately 50% of the population share.

Good take...

The sh*t that matters to the vast majority of people is having a job, paying the bills and raising a family. They have no time for the ridiculous.
So why waste hours listening to Rogan then? Is he really that entertaining? I don’t see it. A lot of the time he just echoes what his guests say. Credit to him for calling out Candace Owens, Steven Crowder, Milo and Dave Rubin though.

But that was then. These days there’s tonnes of shit to attack right wingers on and he’ll ignore it or dismiss it. Why would he do that if he wasn’t biased and didn’t have an audience that leans right?

I’m not saying that’s a bad thing either but don’t pretend like you’re Sam Harris who’s far more in the middle than Rogan likes to pretend he is.

Anyone who can’t see Rogan’s bias by now is being stubborn or in denial. But then, you did say yourself maybe Joe shouldn’t have mentioned climate change to Peterson “haha.” What’s the matter, don’t want that dickhead to be exposed?

I thought letting the audience decide by open discussions on anything was a good thing. Peterson said that gibberish on “climate is everything” because climate change has become a liberal talking point. He’s a grifter. His celebrity status was based on a lie by the way. The bill never forced him to use gender pronouns. And he knew it.

So you don't like him because he MAY have a differing political opinion to you that approximately 50% of the population share.

No, I don’t like him because he is a nonvaxxer pseudo intellectual idiot who pretends to be this unbiased, holier than thou neutral guy when he’s anything but. Plus he was agreeing with a guy who compared Australia to nazi Germany and a police state. He can get ****ed. I’m allowed to dislike someone for being full of shit, it’s not the same as wanting to censor them. Where was his condemnation of Trump and the Republicans who defended him over his attempt to steal the election?

These subtleties are often lost on people looking for a way to bulk up and be the popular kid. It's a celebrity endorsement of health products. He is a source of health information for millions of people. Whether or not individuals say that they are 100% rational about whether they buy his pills, I can tell you about teenagers and early 20's bros who buy this shit that you know is basically pointless for them. I'm down with the kids.

In regards to health supplements you do realise its not Joe brewing them up in a pot? Once again actual professionals and he has got himself involved because given his life its clearly something he thinks about. I'd say a celebrity pushing supplements is a lot less sh*t than those pushing alcohol or sports stars pushing their child made sports gear.
It's a celebrity endorsement of health products. His cachet with the kids is transferred onto health products to make them want to buy. He is a source of health information. He should do it better.

From the hundreds of Rogan Podcasts I have watched he in the vast majority of cases does not share uninformed thoughts, when he's talking to scientists/doctors/"experts" they do the vast majority of the speaking... he is giving them a platform.

When he does talk a fair bit is when he has UFC fighters, combat sports/BJJ guests on.

Joe Rogan is a magnificent interviewer/conversationalist, he treats his guests with respect, lets them speak at length but also holds them to account for their statements.

He has guests from all walks of life, I'll take his 2-3 hour unedited conversations over soundbites and clickbait from the likes of The Project, MSM news/current affairs, CNN and Fox or Sean Hannity/Don Lemon/Stephen Colbert/Kochie/Stefanovic etc.

Some notable guests- Brian Cox, Bernie Sanders, Tulsi Gabbard, Neil DeGrasse Tyson, Elon Musk, Mike Tyson, Sanjay Gupta, Lawrence Krauss, Ben Shapiro, Lance Armstrong, Edward Snowden, Jordan Peterson, Brian Greene, Sean Carrol.

Bolded are highly credentialed scientists from varying fields.

He doesn’t hold them to account, lots of guests like Ben Shapiro get away with talking shit in front of him. Could you imagine Christopher Hitchens, George Carlin or Bill Hicks if they were alive in his place? They’d push back way harder. If Dave Chappelle and/or Bill Burr had Rogan’s platform it’d be so much better.

They don’t pander to right wingers or deny basic scientific facts about vaccines. And that’s my biggest gripe. His large platform and covid misinformation is dangerous to public health. Because lots of morons do take him seriously. He’ll tell people not to take him seriously but won’t acknowledge that much of his audience does. I guarantee you a higher percentage of his listeners than the general public are anti vaxxers. And no, I don’t like anti vaxxers. Don’t like it? Get over it snowflakes.

And in the case of grifters like Malone, he should do better than that. He should do his research and challenge Malones lies.

From what I've seen, he goes softly with it. I've only seen bits and pieces in the last 5+ years though. Tons of better books, podcasts, videos etc to engage with. The return on time investment with Rogan isn't there for me. Others see it differently.

I hesitate to assume how Bill Hicks or George Carlin would be responding to the pandemic, but I don't think it's in the way you think they would respond to it.

No, I realise they’d probably be against lockdowns and border closures but they wouldn’t be cheering on anti vaxxer pseudoscience dickheads. They were way more intelligent than that and they’d ****ing hate the likes of Shapiro and probably Peterson too. You can be a leftie, hate conservatism and not be woke/PC/SJW which I think is overblown anyway. I’d say Chappelle and Burr were closer to what they would’ve been like today than Rogan.

So there's not a enough shitty networks, grifters and media content creators already calling out right wing people for you?

You need JR to have to do it too?

I think the problem here is that while you might be obsessed with the left/right dynamic JR doesn't give a **** and because he doesn't give a **** about it then that puts him on certain weird peoples radars because in their simple minds if you don't care about it that means you're a fascist. That's literally how many of those morons minds work.

You yourself display stereotypical traits of many on the left in that if someone doesn't do something exactly how you would do it or would want it done then that person becomes problematic.

There's plenty left wing echo chambers for you to go watch to suit your confirmation bias. They are full of lies and misinformation too but their lies are more suitable to your palette.

It's obvious you just want Joe to be a good little boy and just be some kind of lackey to whoever you think are the good guys.

The same Dave Chappelle who they have been trying to get removed from Netflix and have been labelling with all the left wing buzz words they could muster up?

Chappelle and Burr don't pander to left wingers either. So you'd be bitching and moaning about them eventually too.

Don't like it? Don't watch JR. Get over it snowflakes.

But seems to only be an issue for you because you don't like the celebrity. I haven't really noticed take issue with others pushing stuff like alcohol like I mentioned which is far worse than a dude bro taking supplements. I mean today I noticed Chris Hemsworth is pushing a paid fitness program while he clearly roids himself but no one seems to have an issue with that im guessing because he leans a certain way? I don't either by the way because I was lucky enough to grow up in a time where people were expected to think for themselves.

Not in 2022.

Go ask Bret Weinstein about that.

Nope. I love Chappelle and Burr, they’re actually funny and intelligent unlike Rogan. They’d have to become pseudoscience Republican bootlickers for me to flip my opinion of them but they aren’t and they won’t.

So it must be blowing your tiny little mind then that I love those guys even though as you correctly pointed out they don’t pander to lefties. And I’m the one obsessed with the left right paradigm? Just admit you’re triggered as **** that I think your boy Rogan sucks. Get over it snowflake.

No that's not it.

I don't NOT like Rogan. I think he's too fluffy and any of the people he has on you can get exactly the same or better elsewhere. He just introduces these people to his crowd. Other people do what he says he does, but much better.

Alcohol is awesome. Get into it, kids!

Is Chris Hemsworth ALSO platforming anti-vax grifters? That's the point. The entire point.

Hey Chief didn’t you realise, we’re the ones obsessed with political allegiance even though that guy thinks politics might be the reason why Hemsworth doesn’t cop the fitness app flak? Yeah that’s totally it hahaha.

Joe Rogan is funny. Ask Chappelle and Burr if he is.

Rather funny how you bring up Burr as he's been doing what you're hating on Rogan for doing for years. BB is always spouting shit about stuff he's never researched. I mean how can you say you love him without knowing this?

His whole schtick was based around "What the **** do I know. Don’t listen to me people, I’m a ****ing idiot" after he'd be waffling on about something.

You're a faux Burr fan haha
