Back with the flight and eyes only for the sherrin. Got CLEANED UP and got back out there and had an impact.

I think he has had a really solid season. Say what you will about his disposal but if he keeps giving his all like he did today I'm happy to take the good with the not-so-good.

Hopefully pulls up all right for next week, he was important today.

One of the toughest players in the team. Yes, a bit shaky with the ball, but has been very, very good this past 6wks or so.

Yeah, he's a real team player, and today he took some really important marks which either set us up across HB or prevented a scoring opportunity for Richmond.

He cops it on this board with a fair degree of frequency, and whilst his disposal can be indifferent at times, a more courageous and team-oriented footballer you will not find.

gah forgot about barlow, and ball is not really value considering it wasnt a pick up ball basically wasn't going to play for any other club, still think afl should have stepped in on that.

And pods isnt in Geelongs 22 according to billy brownless and Geelongs forward line isnt that good... midfield - brill back - fantastic rucking dept - could be better forward - good but not the best.

The one thing I notice about Joel Macdonald is how clean he is both in the air and on the ground, we haven't had a defender in a while who is willing to actually take the mark in a 1-on-1 in the back half.

Really consolidating his spot in the side, will be hard to displace.

He definately is tough and fearless, still can't get over the fact Voss got rid of him and then went for Raines, Clarke and Maguire.

He's been a good pick up and is really starting to hit his straps.

The kind of player who may not make the 22 every week but will always give his all and put pressure on spots if he's out of the team. Good teams need these players.

I've been a big supporter all year and was dissapointed everytime he got dropped. Just needed a string of games to gel with the new team mates in the backline. Going along very nicely now, and will be in our best 22 every week imo, at least going forward post-Bruce.
