Hey all, just looking for opinions on what realistic chance does Johns have of lining up against the tigers. Know he played well in Mildura against them. could cause some dramas??

well they need a focal point who will present himself (unlike ryder), this allows lucas to play his normal game and let hird float across instead of being bashed and battered.

all he has to do is presnt himself and add some much needed intimidation to allow others to take marks, he doesnt necessarily need to kick goals to be of use.

But he hasnt done anything in the resrves, sorry VFl????

I'm almost certain he won't play.
I don't think he's fit to play.

I agree with you Longy..........he's not match-ready to play.

BUT..........i watched him train on Wednesday & he did do everything required as part of the main group. That in itself is no guarantee i know but i have the distinct feeling Sheeds & Co. are wanting to put in a place asap that marking target down forward.

Now by rights CJ should be tearing it apart for Bendigo first, but how much is he going to gain from it, not much IMO. He strikes me as one of those players who isnt all that fussed about 2nd's footy to be honest but he could play just as well or just as poorly in the 1st's.

He's on the list to play seniors not reserves.............we need a player of his ilk badly at the moment. His time is now.

I'd be fairly confident he will run out this week.

But did anyone test his ribs?

Get back to your own feral club board Spitter. You'll probably have a bit more 'axing' to do over there after this weekend. :D

Im sure Im welcome on this board as long as I discuss the game civilly, and in respect of the users on this board, a concept which you are obviously unable to grasp at all. :)

Johns' ribs are suspect, and that's a fact. IF he plays Id be extremley disappointed if a Richmond player didn't give them a full test. I'd rather he not play and be replaced by Ryder or someone simply becuase although Johns hasn't proved himself at the top level, we are really stretched down back and simply cant spare the height to man him up.

conditions will also play a part. If its like this in 24 hours, I doubt Johns will play - probably bring in slatts.

Pretty sure he`s out. I`m giving this bloke one more chance, but it must be under the roof. The size he is and the way he plays, wet weather is no good, we saw him last year in the wet, let`s be honest he was :D:D:D:Dhouse. So one or two games under the roof. if he can`t play there, he can`t play anywhere.

refreshingly honest & to the point :thumbsu:

I'm over Courtney Johns. How many chance do we give him?
I know it's not his fault and he tries and is a good bloke, etc. But this club isn't in a postion to carry players.
