Jolly and Prismall

does anyone want to wager a guess at what we would need to cough up to land Prismall?
Warnock is highly rated by freo so to get him u would think rus would need to be traded. As an earlier post said earlier wood we could grab for less as he is third choice ruckman at the lions.

IMO he will ask to be traded so there is a possibility he could go below value. Only problem is that he may attract some attention from elsewhere which will push up his value.

Geelong will want a pick and I would guess at somewhere between say 18-25. I don't think anyone will want to use a first rounder so probably early second.

Lonie has trade value, but not to Geelong. Better option would be to trade Lonie and our 3rd for a 2nd rounder or Lonie and our second roun for an early second rounder.

I would guess that Geelong only want draft picks as they have such great depth especially in their midfield that lonie would have no real value. Somewhere Lonie or Holland may come in useful though would be as an upgrade of our second round picks to early 20's.

That would be fair deal lonie for jolly straight up. I would still want us to get wood or warnock as well though, so fraser dont have to ruck

Why not? lonie would suit their style. at the end of the day jolly aint awesome, and he is getting on, but he does suit our needs for now so I doubt we would pay above what he is worth. Especially with them butt ****ing us on the nick davis deal.

Agree on the Nick Davis part. I only see Lonie having very limited value unfortunately. He could do well for Sydney but I only see us upgrading a pick for him. It would suit him too as we really don't have a spot for him anymore.

I think we may have to use a pick too to get Jolly.

That may work.

Sydney are starting to really need a rebuild and I think they know it. I saw something on Roos coming out warning of mass changes to the list so that could mean they would be interested in a Lonie with some good years left and pick 30 which could offer a good quality kid.

Jolly aint as bad as Hudson, and still has 3 years on him, but i think that Jolly will go for more than i'd be willing to pay - (alot more than just Lonie). If Hille wanted out, at 26 he would be a great pickup, and more likely less value than Jolly.

Ideally, i'd like to trade for...
A young ruck:
Warnock... if not him then Wood

An experienced ruck:
Hille... maybe Jolly depending on price

An inside mid:
Prismall

Jolly is the type of established ruckman we are after... Sydney will be able to fill the hole with Boyle. I also rate Prismall and feel that a move might be good for both him and us. Would we be able to use Prismall (and I know he is a midfielder) as a running back flanker like Heater?

As far as I know both have not signed up with their clubs and I've read things here and there that Jolly might be looking for a move back to Melbourne.. who knows maybe Judd opened the floodgates.

No. what would you ask for in return for Blake is more the question.
Warnock and Wood are better options for us even though Warnock is unlikely. Also I consider Jolly to be better than Blake.

Blake is a make-shift ruckman and was used that way until something better come along. I think now he's not playing in the ruck he's playing better footy but before that i didn't rate him at all.

As for Lonie linked to Sydney... Pie need to do that deal... throw in a pick for Jolly so everyone is happy.
