Enjoyed playing against the aints in the nab cup and i aint expecting anything less i think he will find his touch this week. anyone else feel the same?

I hope you're right.

As much as Jolly (and Ball) have struggled in the first 2 games, I am not going to write them off at any stage of this season.

Jolly and Ball, to me, are part of the long term strategy of this football club to eventually win that long awaited flag.

I've always maintained that Ball and Jolly will get better as the season goes on, and we are only up to round 3 at the moment.

Having said all that, I hope Jolly plays better this week, as much for Darren as for the team, because he is working hard, he is trying, it just isn't workign for him yet.

I'm behind the big fella 100%, and I just hope he can show us "the real Darren Jolly" in week 3 at Etihad.

fComparing Jolly last year at the Swans.which was a great year
for him and his previous couple of years which were good,I'm begining
to wonder if he is carrying an injury. He hardly gets off the ground when
he jumps.Thoughts or observations anyone?

To me he just doesnt show the same urgency as he did at the Swans,he will grow to love us very soon ;)

let me guess.. he's in your dreamteam?? hehe

I think he'd also be a little confused at what he is and isn't allowed to do while competing in ruck contests ... the lack of consistency by the umpires between the first two rounds was ridiculous.

Against the dogs a free kick was payed if he and Hudson brushed hands, yet Jamar was allowed to shove him out of the way on more than one occasion against Melbourne.

No doubt the club would have sought some clarification.
