Very sad to hear marsh was doing well. Best 22 next year. Damn shame he doesn't get to play finals but he'll be playing finals in the seniors next year so all hope is not lost

We've only got four players on the list with elite pace, and three of them have had very serious hamstring injuries this year... Geez..
My brain not functioning, can only think of freeman, who are other two?

Have to disagree about best 22 next year. Marsh is a work in progress and has a lot of upside for sure, but best 22 next year is a big call. Maybe by 2016 he becomes best 22, but next year it most likely won't happen.

Just out of interest, considering you think he's best 22 next year, who does Marsh push out of the current best 22?

He isn't dead. It's a hamstring!

It was a very serious injury. Your lack of empathy for one of our own players is typical of your BS attitude.

I seriously don't understand negative comments.
The kid was progressing, played a great game and got injured.
You don't want any player on your list injured.
This kid has extreme speed, good size and is a great mark.
He will be a player.
I saw the injury on tv and it looked bad.
High hamstring and probably Lloyd like.:cry::cry:

Could not have put it better

How is it a serious injury? It's a bloody hammy! He'll live!

Were you watching the game? Marsh was outstanding all day, and in that contest I backed him in, thought, it's Marsh he'll win this contest as he did all day, mind you he was very daring and creative with his run too.

Then whammo, a 'serious' hammy. We're talking Lloyd serious, you never want that.

Basically, no point having this conversation with you though, you are one of those posters who would never say, yep, I'm wrong was a harsh or stupid call.

Edit: You're going on ignore from now on.

Marsh was ok in 3-4 passages of play.
No report on the injury yet. All we know is he grabbed his hamstring and two trainers had trouble carrying him off because they didn't have a stretcher. Made it look worse because they didn't even carry him off properly. Cool your jets before you start running with the 12 month injury rubbish because some Essendon fan saw Lloyd go down like a sniper. I'd wait on the injury report.
Block away. :)

Ok Doctor Jmac. Bad news for him that he pulled a hammy but he won't be the last and certainly wasn't the first. The most common injury in football.

Don't worry about TG. Guy lives in his own world of negativity.

I tend to agree. He's making strides, but in my mind is still probably the most raw player on the senior list.

If he's best 22 as of 2015 you might as well clean out the entire fitness department because it's only happening if we have yet another horrid year with injuries we also aren't contending.

Mooney, Sinclair, Freeman, Marsh are those with elite speed.
Thanks, if thinking clearly I probably would have thought of Mooney but not Sinclair. Knew he had pace but wouldn't have known he had elite speed. I have seen draft results for Freeman & Marsh pace but any idea how Mooney & Sinclair stack up against them?

He is waiting on scans but it was the most pain he has ever had.

Not looking good, if it is the tendon it is not just another hammy. He had made giant strides and if not for his kicking issues would probably have played before year end.

am correct in hearing that he is almost if not quicker then freeman.. apparently he is a jet. he is definitely a project player but given his progress in the twos this year I can really see him making the grade next year .

Quicker than Freeman. 2nd fastest 20m sprint time tested at the Draft Camp of all time.

I think Sinclair was 2.83, just following Freeman's 2.81, and Marsh's 2.78. Mooney's hasn't been released, but the club did say that his time would have broken the combine record (putting itaround the 2.75 mark or better).

Anything below 2.9 is elite.

A big If. but if he can hold down key back we won't even need a spare man down there as he can quickly cover as 3rd man up in most contests given his speed... we can only dream :P
