But he said he never felt any expectation to play to McLean's standards.

Sooooo... he decided to play an absolute shitload better than Mclean instead!

agree, shipping Johnstone out and stealing another first round pick for McLean have to be two of the finest exchange decisions in retrospect with what we got for them.

Dyson Heppell has been good in every game this year, with quite a few really really good performance. Either him or Zac Smith will win.

Personally, Zac Smith has been an absolute freak at GC and should win it. Shuey and Heppell also ahead of Gys unfortunately. But he joins that list of players to earn 2 rising star noms. And to be honest, who cares who wins the award, we know we have a gun kid, while Carlton have Brock
