Liked what i saw yesterday good size quick and seems to have good skills .Maybe another kade simpson taking a bit of game time to show his abillty at senior level. Your thoughts blues supporters
 
Not only does he look like he has good skills but his composure was good under pressure. Looks like an attribute to our list for sure!
 
I think you are right. Showed a lot of poise yesterday and for the first time ever, I see something in him. His height for a midfielder is a plus. Maybe an Andrew Embley type tall midfielder with much more pace.

Only if they earn it. Certainly JR has, and JK continues to develop. I am still not sold on Blackwell. Others are a big wrap for him though.

Blackwell got BOG last week for the Bullants so I was surprised he was only named an emergency this week. I thought he definately earnt his spot!

I thought Carrazzo might just have earnt his spot too coming off a lazy 51 posessions for the Bullants. Was very suprised to see him as an emergency. But ya never know what is going through Pagans head. Don't rate him as a coach at all.

Surely you would rate him more after yesterdays effort?

For Pagan to give players belief, tell them that they can win and what they will have to do to get in that position is worth some respect I believe.

Carazzo should come in for Houlihan v Kangaroos and hopefully Blackwell in for a Teague/McGrath/Livingston/Prendergast etc.
 
i was pretty happy with what i saw from russell yesterday he really surprised me because from some of his other performances i didnt think much of him. i dont no about u guys but from watching the match dont u think embly looked like he was on drugs or something :confused:

I think the kids rate Pagan. Could be wrong, but there is often good things said about him by the kids.
There are many people who don't like DP. We could win the flag and some would still stick the boot in. That is not saying he is perfect and there haven't been mistakes.
 
Russell is really starting to find his feet now...........has started to rack up the possessions for the Bullants in recent weeks, and showed enough on the weekend to suggest we've got ourselves a good young HBF/Wingman.

We need to persist with him for the rest of the season, with a view of him becoming a regular senior player from next season on.

he did not let us down and with more game time will come greater confidence.
3.
never thought of the Embly comparison, but yeah, good size, fast gee hope he developes along these lines cos Embly is a class act.

Was some good signs with Russell, keep persisting with him.

Interesting about Embley comparison, I don't think he'll get anywhere near that build.

That's where we lost the game these strong guys like Embley,Chick,Cox asserted themselves & we couldn't match their strength.

Hard to find these strong guys that can play forward & midfield, hopefully we can find a few.

This is the NORM for young recruits. I don't know why people think otherwise. Judd, MUrphy, etc are the exceptions.

and give Hartlett a chance too once he overcomes his injury. 2 years and the guy hasnt even played a game.
 
I'm a big fan of JR. He lacked a bit of intensity last year I thought but this year he has improved that a lot. :thumbsu:

We are getting some decent runners into the team.

Russell, Simpson and Walker. Our future is looking alright.:thumbsu:
