can you just leave our players alone... brisbane want to suceed to you know...
you guys did win 3 premierships in a row and were in a grand final year after. i would feel bad if i were you aswell but were due for some succes mate. Hadley tomoz drummond psd

If Brisbane dont resign him, we will most probably take Drummond in the PSD , and he would be a great pick up, over 20 possessions a game, and hits targets in forward 50 with regularity

Great news guys. Woodhouse was apparently just on 6PR saying that they were unlikely to secure Richmonds pick 18 for Morton and that they could get him in the PSD.

If a deal doesn't eventuate tomorrow they will commit to him and we will effectively have have the 1st live pick in the PSD.

In saying this I think Mitch is a very talented player and Richmond have done well if they can get him for free.

We got pick 46 instead of 30 because 30 was required for that trade.
Minimal difference, and I suppose if it gets us a good player in the PSD then its fine.

This year's PSD will probably be our last for awhile when we have an early pick, so we need to capitalise on this opportunity. With this year's ND lacking depth, we need to add 1 or 2 more reasonable experienced players to our list & then draft well next year, assuming the cycle of good drafts following a relatively weak one happens next year. If we can get another trade across the line tomorrow & get someone like Drummond in the PSD we will be in a position to start challenging for the finals no later than 2009.

Drummond is better but I'm extremely happy about getting Hadley. Is a bargain pick up and could become a really good centreman.

Agree, i can't see anything but list improvement with him. If he stays fit i can't see much room for Wiggins and bannister!

Having Russell, Bentick and Blackwell as our fringe players, rather than the lot we have had the last five years, is a great step forward for our club:thumbsu:

I have just heard that Drummond has not re-signed yet and is being looked at by Carlton again.
