He is on the downfall people. Pick him up

Definantly going to be one of the highest averaging backmen by seasons end, and at 330,000 and still falling, makes a lovely replacement for a wonaemirri or pfeifer or cheap backmen

If fit he will be a serious bargain in a couple of weeks. Good call :thumbsu:

After I do my Nathan Jones to Corey trade, and Cyril to Chapman trade.

I might trade Guerra for him. But he'll be back by then. Hmmmmm

Did anyone actually see his match last night? Because in my eyes, his only DT vale is when he plays the "Joel Bowden" sweeper role at the back, racking up cheap touches. If he gets back into this role then he is a must have.

Injuries are a problem, but hes a big risk big reward type of player.

He could be less than 300k in 2 weeks time when Wonaemirri may peak absolute beauty at very best it could only be a 30 - 40k upgrade

If hes "one of the highest averaging backmen" for the year, then he wont get under 300k, more likely between 310 and 320k.

sorry i disagree
If drummond scores 70, 70 then he will only be 294 000
If he scores 75, 75 then he will be 298 700
If drummond scores 85, 85 he will still be less than 310 k

Hes still not cherry ripe and he has another bad game like the one against the blues and scores another 62 then he will only be 300k after round 9.

If you had to line up Drummond and SFisher at around 300 - 310K I would take Fisher in a heartbeat. More durability and will score well whether accountable or loose. Probably the best value backman available ATM in my opinion. Clearly the Goose injury and Goddard factors had no impact the other night, he's just one of those players who can find the ball.

The poor man's Heath Shaw.

Wouldn't mind doing Mattner to Drummond next week but Drummond still has plenty of value to lose and I'm not sold on him at all.

So who is jumping on this guy at 316k and not likely to get any cheaper?

Not me, my backs are solid, and Wonna is still a few weeks off his max. I'm hoping for Mackie to drop a bit and claim him as my final backline player. Drummond needs too many things to go his way (injuries, team role) for him to score well. Although he scores very well when he does.

EDIT: On second thought, Drummond will be my backup plan if things go wrong lol.

Me, I'm bringing in Drummond and Goddard for Gilbee and Taylor to leave my backline as:

Cornes
Shaw
Drummond
Milburn
Goddard
King
Bones

Myers
Pfeiffer

Yep I just upgraded Gram to Drummond.
Backs have been horrible all year, it's worth the punt.

Leaves me with: Cornes, Shaw, King, Milburn, Drummond, Symes, Ibbotson (Taylor, Proud)

The only one I can upgrade from my backline is Jake Edwards, but he is no where near peaking yet so I can't do it this week. :(

I am pretty happy with the rest of my backs and only have Kennelly as the other upgrade left who is earmarked for the Chad when he becomes affordable

I actually traded on Sunday night. It's intentional so I don't spend the whole week thinking about dream team isntead of studying.

And yes, I'm aware of what I'm doing right now :)

haha thats fair enough, i know the feeling as im studying also! I hope we dont see that headline as im also hoping to bring him in :thumbsu:

I'm going to get Drummond, with Guerra out injured I can't afford 20/30's from Myers.

So trades this week will be:

Out: Gamble Hartlett
In: Valenti, Drummond

My backline will then be.

H Shaw, Johncock, Milburn, Drummond, Bradshaw, Mundy, Mattner

with Guerra and Myers on the bench. When Guerra is back will piss off Mundy. Was going to upgrade him beforehand but will trade him for a cheapy instead.

No thanks. Arguably the most injury prone player in the AFL. When he is on the park he is super, but majority of the time he isn't. Definetely not worth the risk imo. Won't be making that mistake again.
