That may be true, but trading him would be a BIG mistake. I don't understand how Josh could be maligned most of this year. Since being dropped, the games he's played coming back have been quite commanding. I, for one, hope to see him play every final that we play.

Totally agree. I cannot remember the last time Hunt looked that good in the seniors. He plays like that, he's in the team every week, no problem at all.

I think it's a good reminder about how much of footy is mental. Hunt looked like he knew he belonged there and played accordingly. Absolutely no sign of any doubt or hesitation.

Keep it up Josh.

Hunt looked absolutely sensational on Sunday. His kicking penetration by foot was back to its best and his over head marking was brilliant.

How was the kick in that went 75 metres?!!!

Keep up the good work Josh!

His game on Sunday was pleasing to watch.

Kicking skills were good, he attacked the ball/contests with confidence and some regularity, and his defensive marking was much better for the most part. Hope for his sake he keeps it up.

Just watched a replay, and it looks like Hunt was actually enjoying himself out there unlike earlier in the year. The evil grin is back. Big guys like that sometimes forget how big they are if you know what I mean. His problems were all mental.

Yep agreed, he seriously looked like he was having a day out and you could see him enjoying the challenge and rising to the day.


Have said it before and will say it again, JH will be awesome during the finals and will be more than ready to put his body on the line to succeed.

Commented on this in the game review thread, but I was very happy to see Josh back to form. His attack on the ball was great and his kicking was beautiful. Would love to see more of those bombs from the kick-ins, those were a huge weapon back in the day. I wouldn't be surprised to see him used on only an occasional basis, though - other teams will work it out like they did previously.

Anyway, good to see Josh back to playing good footy, he's a huge asset when in form.
