hmmm, not sure as Rach poses a vastly different set of problems to that of Keays or ANB and it might have been that Collingwood were going to bring in a certain type of defender to run with him so keeping that decision as long as possible on the table throws their set up into doubt - maybe.

You know if we win he will also be playing the next game?Really thrilled with this outcome. I have a horrid feeling we lose to the Pies Thursday (you know, based on 3 decades of following this team)., and therefore to have Rach back will be incredibly helpful!
All things considered, that's a tiny injury list.Available for selection from next week:

It's a tough call. Bringing him on as sub allows the game to slow down a bit before h comes on. I agree I'd be starting him but I'm not against him coming on as a sub.Thoughts on Rachele getting up. I feel if he is picked, he needs to start, not as the sub. Need impact from him early otherwise if he comes on in the third it may be too little too late.
Sit him deep in the fwd pocket and make someone like Hardwick accountable. All he needs to do is kick 2 or three himself and that's two or three we didn't have last week along with a handful of goal assists. Sub him in the third if the legs are going on him.
100% if he isn't the sub their defenders will run him into the ground by quarter time OR if he isn't willing to go with them they'll kill us with overlapAfter seeing how effective and game changing Josh Kelly was as the sub after a long layoff, Rachele should be sub for us on Friday.
Issue is Nicks will then have to make a decision when he comes onAfter seeing how effective and game changing Josh Kelly was as the sub after a long layoff, Rachele should be sub for us on Friday.
If he kicks THE first one it might bring the stands downThis will be a huge lift, his reaction after his first goal will be great
Which will be 23 seconds before a match ending injury to another Crows player.Issue is Nicks will then have to make a decision when he comes on
You're confusing my statement .....the "long shot" reference I posted was in regard to the "full" in/out scenario posted .....the two players coming out & two coming in ...that scenario I called as a long shot
Straight sets would be a crime.1 injured player at this time of the year is crazy. Will likely never have as healthy list again as we've had this year.
This is true, but that's why we still need 2 or 3 good inclusions in the off season.1 injured player at this time of the year is crazy. Will likely never have as healthy list again as we've had this year.
Ah, we did cover injuries and won 12 of our last 13 heading into finals. All clubs need another ‘2 or 3 recruits’ every off season, but you also can’t buy finally getting finals experience into many of our players. This is true, but that's why we still need 2 or 3 good inclusions in the off season.
The best clubs can cover good players missing through injury (or suspension)
Finals experience that the playing group should have already had from 23 and 24but you also can’t buy finally getting finals experience into many of our players.
