looks like he has run his race and port are going to pay out his last year of his contract for him to retire..... if so, im glad he didnt get any success or form up when back at port, i really thought him leaving was going to hurt us, but it turned out a real blessing in disguise. still have fond memories of his derby exploits, but he really showed himself to be a prick at the end of last year... anyway looks like that is the end of that chapter *KPR brushes his hands and flicks his scarf over his right shoulder*

I look back at him with contempt and the only thing that is a positive is that this disloyal dog did us a favour by going.

He left - freed up a space on our list ...we get one more ND spot, which means we got to take a Hall type in the ND and not rookie him ...which in turn means we get to experiment with a mature ager from Subi in Broughton.

Why is there no love for Josh Carr? Because he left us? I will always have those memories of him giving baby oil ben a lessen in hardness, as well as other good memories of him. It was disappointing that he DID leave and went back to port, but i didn't begrudge him that. He was doing it for a girl friend NOT a snub to our club...

It is somewhat satisfying that he didn't have much impact there this year though. It does seem he left at the right time for us

i have a lot of fond memories of josh in teh purple, what DID change my opinion of him, was the article they had in the SA newspaper about him coming "home" to port and how he and his slapper girlfrield were laughing about how stupid freo were for thinking we could get a trade for him, and how it was deliberately orchestrated that he would be overseas for the medical test, so he didnt have to take it, giving port an excuse to not offer anything up for him.... both he and his girlfirend really showed their colours in that article....... it still grinds my gears that one

Ahhh Memories!!!! I used to love him. The only thing that he could have done better in that situation would be to pick the pie up that they threw at him and take a massive bite out of it. I would have just about given anything to see that.

But it is just a sad exit for a man who could have been Freo Legend.

as i said previously, it wasnt so much that he left, it was the fact that chocco told him to go overseas so that he didnt have to complete a medical so port werent obligated to even offer us a 7th round pick, and then to have the gall to laugh about it in the SA newspaper, that was pretty ordinary stuff, especially from a vice captain, it became clear in that moment that he never really gave a stuff about our club.... if an eagles player did it to you, you would understand

He only ever wanted to play with his brother, which on some levels is understandable. When Matt was finished, Josh wanted to leave. Pretty simple. Couldn't give a stuff about Freo.

Can't believe Port took him back. I wasn't disappointed to see him go for nothing ... because that is exactly what he was worth when he left.
