Happy for the kid that he could have this sort of game. I really rated him as our most likely to have a breakout year, it was nice to see he still has the hunger in his game after a disappointing season.

This is why the coaching staff have kept him for such a long time without him actually playing AFL football. Played incredibly well tonight and should he get a good pre-season under his belt I don't see why he can't be starting 22 next year.

Reckon we'll see a few more people with the JT cut in the near future.

He has the tools to be a really good player for us and it's good to see him showing what he CAN do.

I've always rated JT (and so has Beams) and I'm really glad to see him take another step up tonight. I think he learnt the level of effort that is required to excel at AFL level. I'm predicting this is the start of him cementing his spot in the seniors.

Its a sample of what he can do, when he has it working. Still overcoming chronic injury woes and it shows in his tank, which is still a worry, but he gut ran like he wanted it today and now can see for himself what he can do. Hopefullly the start of something good for JT and for the team.
