Ones averaging 0.8 coaches votes more per game, as well as having a significantly higher player rating.

It’s clear in that it’s not up for debate who’s having the better season for anyone but the most one eyed hawks fans.

Weddle and Ginbey are, imo, the best examples of the ideal modern defender. They are strong in the contest, fast, can spoil and intercept reliably, and can rebound to good effect. Ginbey doesn't do quite as much offensively, largely because he has nothing to kick to majority of the time, but I'd pay a massive trade price for either of these guys. If I had Pick 2, I wouldn't hesitate to pay that for either of them

Agree with a lot of this. Would add you need to be a very good kick as a befender. Ginbey isn't that. He has a KE of 69%. Whilst not terrible, for a defender it would want to improve.

KE of 69% is fine, Clark who is one of the better rebounding defenders is at 73.5.

He also has a much bigger tank, he would run Ginbey into the ground.

I never said Ginbey was faster, although the stats support him being so.

I was merely rebutting that Ginbey “runs in quick sand”.

They have pretty similar tanks, also evidenced in their 2km times being very similar.

Just take the L and move on, it seems you should be used to that.

Has a lot to do with his team mates not presenting good options. Very easy to maintain a high kicking efficiency when you have easy targets to kick to. He’s by no means a bad kick

I think Ginbey's kicking will look a lot better once the team starts putting more effort in. If I had a dollar for every time he won the ball then looked up to see a bunch of stationary players making no attempt to create space, watching eagles games would be a lot less painful.

Ginbey also has a higher top speed this season.
