Judd refuses to talk

Anyone know anymore about this?

Given that he is interviewed twice a week, can they piece together something, or should Juddy make himself available.

Most relevant to Chris is his very full schedule and I understand that, and I understand that he's probably the most in-demand player in the game and it's trying to balance all of that.

I could understand, given the recent media, that we don't want him on air talking about Libba, Fev and anything else non-game related, but the request has been in for over a month........why the refusal?

Channel 10 have already been over promoting Judd to boost their ratings for the game. The focus should be on winning footy games, not improving channel 10's advertising revenue. Enough's enough.

Disagree, doesn't have to be routine, but its the first match of the season, its not really going to interupt his focus on the game. He should be doing things like this to promote membership for the club.

He's already done publicity shots for Ten's commercial promoting the game and an interview for The Footy Show last week. Judd shouldn't have to change and interrupt his normal match day preparation for his first game in Navy Blue so Ten can improve their ratings.

Maybe Juddy should give them a pound of flesh as a response to questions about Fev.

As for your comment regarding membership, so its one or the other is it? If he does an interview, we lose, if he doesn't do the interview, we win? Again let me put one of these faces here to make your comments seem less logical....

Point is, I think we should be doing everything to get in membership for the club, how many games do you really think (apart from round 7) are going to be built up as much as this one for us? Milk it for what its worth now, otherwise in 5 weeks time, no one will probably give a sh^t what Judd has to say pre-match.

you did speak for him mate cause you said it wouldn't interrupt
his focus for the game. You don't know how he prepares and
what his mindset needs to be before a game.
He should do whatever is most ideal in getting ready to play footy.

If not, then it's because its Judd, and he's done interviews, about his groin, about his first game, about the club, about Libbas comments.........

I think you've missed the point here champ...
I hope he is BOG..and i hope we smash Richmond into 3001.
BUT....His duty is football first and foremost.

You're right, he is the leader and he does have responsibilities...
but his ultimate duty is to be ready to play footy and lead the boys
onto victory. If this is compromised at all by greedy media hounds
and TV BS then it's not on. He's a pro, and you'll get your pound

Lets all hope that with all this crap with Fevola and Channel 10 that Juddy can concentrate on what he does best tomorrow night.

Everytime i flick on the sports news Juddy is doing an interview with someone so to say he is not contributing towards membership etc.. for the Carlton Football Club is utter crap. FFS just have a look at the current membership level which is a direct result of him coming to our club.

I for one can't wait to see him hitting Fevola lace out time after time.. And you can rest easily that when the final siren goes and he is interviewed by Channel 10 as Best on Ground he will provide a stellar interview as usual....
