Surely they need to appeal.....can someone tell me what exactly he did that was so bad....Rischitelli got straight up without flinching...(sure the video did not sustain sufficient evidence)

or scratching his nose, I know if an opposition player did it to one of our boys I'd want them rubbed out, too.Log in to remove this Banner Ad
It doesn't matter where contact was eventually made, Heath Scotland got done by grabbing at somebody's face, under a generic misconduct charge.
Really sets the start of our season back depending on our draw. I thought it was Nick Stevens who was in to ****ing up the start of our season by being stupid. Juddy is a great player, but probably not the messiah some think he is. Would like to see his comments on this rush of blood.
It's a bit weird knowing that he won't even qualify for the following year's brownlow.
I am certain the Richmond V Carlton rnd 1 fixture is going ahead again next year, I think especially with an crowd of Nearly 90 K for the season opener, the AFL will be loathe to tamper with a winning formula.

Not to mention the off-season build up of Richmond making the finals. (Also sorry for going OT)I know this is off topic but the only reason for the massive crowd for Rnd 1 was the Judd Vs Cousins showdown.
The charge is "unreasonable contact to the face", which covers just about any contact that they don't like. I can understand why they don't like what Judd did, or more accurately, was trying to do. It wasn't neccessary, and indeed he went out of his road to do it.That's my point....what is the charge? and where is the evidence with Judd's finger's in Rischitelli's eyes?
