Actually the big news should be Daniel Kerr tearing his hamstring. With the Eagles losing Judd & Cousins, they were really relying on Kerr to lead the midfield. Early reports call it a 3-4 week injury, but nowadays hamstring tears generally require a minimum of 5 weeks to heal & allow a player back into action & it can take a touch longer to regain confidence in the hamstring. It will be interesting to see if there is a similar BigFooty frenzy about this injury, to the frenzy about Judd's recovery. If there isn't, we will definitely know that the stuff being posted about Judd is nothing more than troll material.
You haven't seen the Eagles and AFL pages then MSR? I think it was posted at about the instant it happened at the ground. Saw people on their mobiles straight away, and I thought, who are you ringing about this? What's the point? Sure, it's not quite the frenzy about Judd, but it might get there. I would hazard a guess it will be around the 6 week mark, as you suggest, just to play safe.
