Quite true. A good coach will find a way to harness his sheer skill and combine it with the appropriate level of physicality. It can be a fine balance for some players.

I feel he may have been forced to play the "crumbing forward" role this year, which hampered his natural game. 40 goals is still a good return for a young forward.

Very true, you can see him hanging off the back of packs more and more this year looking to get the crumbs, either he has been told to or has consciously decided not to fly for everything, someone needs to get him back to 'see ball, get ball' and then add the defensive aspect as well

After 35 games and a bag of goals the upside for liam is massive, what a lot people forget is he didnt come out of the Teal Cup were those kids a properly drilled on all aspects of AFL, theres a few things he needs to work on, but it's the sky the limits for him, glad he's on our list.
