Someone just posted on the main board that Liam Jurrah has gone home for a visit and advised the club he doesnt want to come back... any truth to the rumour?

What's with all of these peanuts coming up with rumours surrounding Melbourne at the moment?

I'm guessing people are scared of what we might become, given the immense talent that is currently at our disposal, in conjunction with the crop of youngsters which will stem from the draft.

His community said he was representing the Walpirri Community, and being a role model for how far any of them could go if they chose to. They love the fact he is making it. Highly doubt he'd leave. There are a few Walpirri posters who I suspect would put the rumour to bed.

The elders from his community have said that if he ever wanted to come back to Yuendumu that they would keep pushing him back on the plane to Melbourne to continue representing the Walpiri tribe.

Not true, idiotic rumour.

Chuckle.

They know we're going to tear them new ones.
They're scared.
Eat it.

Just morons wanting to stir trouble and that melbourne is losing all its players...pathetic really!

You got taken in hook line and sinker mate, you don;t it was some idiot trying to stir trouble an jump on the bandwagon of player X leaving melbourne!

I think it was only a matter of time before someone created this rumour.

Young aboriginal star from a remote community with a close family.
Goes home to see them.

I dont think you would have anything to worry about.

Plus if he leaves, I'll personally relocate his whole tribe and stick them on a farm just outside Rochester and get him to play for Carlton without training. Just get him down matchdays. But lets be honest that wont happen.

Very true mate, very true.

It's nothing more than idiotic trolling as far as I'm concerned.

Bwahahaha! How worried are the little sheep that Jurrah is going to tear their team a new arseh*le many times over the next 10 years? It's actually a backhanded compliment to us that they don't want to see us climb off the bottom because they can see the shadows of the quality of team we will have in 3 or 4 years. You don't see them devoting the same time to Freo or Richmond.

BTW there is a guy that posts on Demonland who is very close to LJ and if anything was happening it would appear there before these muppets over here knew anything about it.

As well as his family and others from the community up there who've been around here from time to time, of course...

dont worry fellas, his going back. When yappa (aboriginal)people talk to some one its there way of talkin not yours, for example: if a person goes up to liam in the streets of alice springs and asks him if his going back (remind yous his just got of the plane 2 days ago) his reply is nah!and the first reaction that this person is going to take is hey liams not going back to melbourne, and in that time liam has already walked off because of his shyness. When he says his not going back it means his just got here and is having his 6 weeks break before he goes back for pre-season training. The point is this person never ask liam the question properly and if he did he would have got a clearer answer.Unfortunatley there are alot of FRUITCAKES out there who have no idea of the YAPPA language, start interiacting with yappa and they will then give you a better answer, and in the mean time while your talking you will learn to pik up some short versions of wat people are saying.Trust me i know i am liams uncle and have had alot to do with his presence down there.Next year the x factor is gonna put a new meaning to the word mercurial.

I met Liam briefly and have to say, one of the nicest people I have met. I hope he turns it on next year for our sake and more importantly makes his family and community proud.
