i am reading all this stuff about carlton maybe making the finals next year and all this other stuff, you won 4 games this year do you really think judd will win you guys another 8 to 9 games? he is a superstar no doubt but he is one player kruzer will take atleast 3 years to come on.. you have a very good on ball line a ok forward line when fev isnt being a sook but you will still get 25 goals kicked against you a game because your backline is pathetic. just chill out abit good times will come and i really hope they do but you are still atleast 2 years away from finals..

We are 2 years away from a finals appearance, but there could be a very slim chance of us making the final 8 this year if a few things go our way.
But we are honestly looking at 2009 as the year we break back into the finals.

Development, a better gameplan, a confident playing group, fit players and of course Judd, are what will see us improve in 2008.
Stevens and Judd alone is worth 4 golas a game.

When will opposition supporters realise that we are not excited about making the finals, just because we have Judd. Judd is a champion yes, be we all know one man doesn't make the team, and it's starting to sound like a broken record when opp. supporters say that we are only excited about the one guy. So Murphy will have no contribution anymore? Judd's going to tap the ball to the rove of Judd at every pack and kick it forward to Judd?

I'm with audas -I'm quietly very confident that we will make finals in 2008, quietly because I find nothing more offputting than Carlton fans explaining to me in painstaking detail exactly how the team is worse than I believe it is.
I'm comfortable enough with my knowledge of our list and where our players are at and am not at all likely to be talked out of my confidence in our boys.
Similarly, I don't feel any need to convince anyone else to be as optimistic. I am a Carlton supporter and as such believe with confidence that we will win until a game day result proves otherwise.
For those who would rather take a more cautious approach and therefore be less excited about the upcoming season, be my guest!
