Or she might run out of partners first.
She's just reached triple figures out of 178 - nobody else has scored more than 15. One helluva knock!!!!!!

The pitch doesn't do a batter any favours.

Take it up with Grace's biographer, Simon Rae.
Look it up, every single reference to this event he is talking to the umpire who gave him out.
Here's just one of all of them

Every one?

As I said, take it up with his biographer. It's from his book. As I'm not at home at the moment, I can't quote the page.

Ive only ever heard it as umpire
As I have previously said; take it up with Grace's biographer. Simon Rae wrote the definitive book in 1998. I'd heard of that line beforehand, probably from David Frith.

Game on - the last 2 English wickets put on 128, and Australia's lead was just 40. Heather Knight unbeaten on 168.

And Australia are 4 down with a lead of 2 vs her in their 2nd dig.

Her and Brunt carrying all English hopes.

Getting bloody tight in Canberra. Australia declared earlier today, setting the Poms 257 to win, and they're currently 4 for 219: needing 38 off the last 7 overs.

At least Heather Knight showed she's still human, being dismissed for 48.

How good! What a game.
Hear hear - undoubtedly the best Test of the summer. There aren't enough women's Tests, and this was the perfect advertisement for why we need more of them.

Saddened with the way Langer has been treated. Australian cricket is the loser here.
I'm less than impressed with Cricket Australia in recent times - there's the Langer saga, plus their handling (mishandling?) of the Tim Paine affair. Then there was the small matter of the way they handled the fall out from the alleged rape of a young Aussie cricketer in the '80's. Very nasty incident, and IMHO could have been handled far better than it was.

I have not heard about this rape in the 80's/

will google now.

It's not pretty reading. If I can find the article, I'll post the link here.

Edit - here it is, followed by a follow up article:

Just got an email from a supplier - the guy told me that the part I ordered is hard to get. I smiled when he wrote, "This part won't be available until the Poms win the Ashes in Australia." :-)
