If he can string 5-10 games together I think he will be great. No doubt his price will rise if he can string a couple in a row and then you could sell him off for a higher price or keep him.

I think he is worth the gamble.

Its a yes for me, but im wondering if he should be trusted on the field, or be a bench player. At the moment, i have him on the bench, but is he too expensive to have on the bench?

Two different strategies for mine...

...If winning a League is your aim, then yeah, chuck him on the bench. Obvioiusly there's a chance he'll hit some good form a bit later in the year which will save you a trade down the track.

But, the fact is that he hasn't shown any real signs of performing at a high level yet, so it your aim is simply to win the $$, then I wouldn't bother.
There are clearly better options to put on the bench who will likely score as well and free up $90k elsewhere.

jmho.

Huh ??

U musta missed something...when his body is ok and he's match fit there's scarcely anyone that can outscore him....he's on a hiding to nothing...wont be popular with DT's if he's out injured (which history says he will be for periods)...but IFFF he gets firing as we've seen he can become $350K's worth in no time.
The answer is simply to not RELY on him...if he strings a few together u'll luv him but if he's out u'll hate him.

Instead of thinking of the possible negatives..think how much fun he could be coming off the bench racking up 100pt scores for a few weeks then OUT again....the game is about risk taking mixed with common sense...but its meant to be fun...he's gonna be fun unless its a season ending injury.

Yeah, but what about last season where he had the odd game? He didn't just come in a get 100 and go back out. He came in, got 3 or 4 touches, and sat back down again. Just because he plays a few games, doesn't mean he'll get straight back to high points.

If he can get a bunch of games in a row, then maybe. But if it's just one every here and there, he won't score so well.

Could be worth the risk, and i had him originally. But I agree with MrChristo. There are first year players who will score and are better bench options, and if theyre just sitting on your bench, why not save the money?

Put it this way...many will be having a go at Luke Darcy...but i'd put Darcy a far greater risk with better options in the ruck for the price.

Most will take a punt on Kosi...takes all big guys a few games to get match fit...he's the "fun factor" this yr for the price...could be an absolute gun and unless u have him you're behind the 8 ball...OR..nothin !...at worst he's not a huge risk (may not even need to trade him all yr)....but at best he could be 100 average once he warms up.

I have him on the bench. If he can play a few good games before the inevitable injury hopefully his price will increase substantially before I have to trade him. Otherwise he is a cheap pick up if he stays on the park.

I wouldn't select him in the forward line as there are better options but down back there are not too many 'cheap' decent players to choose from.

i disagree i dont think there are many good cheap players in the forward line they are all in the midfield

You are right that the best cheap players are in the midfield but you can ony select Kosi as a forward or a backman. I suggested that there are other cheap players available in the forward line whereas there is not much to choose from in the backline.
