Justin Longmiur interested in coming to Carlton?

Do we really want Justin Longmuir after his comments when we failed to get him in 2001?
As I recall the pr1ck said why would he come to a rabble like Carlton!!
I say F#$K him if he wants to come now!
He had his chance to come to a great club and instead of just declining, dissed us in the media!

I can't recall those comments, and Carlton tried to recruit him in 2002, not 2001 (Hasleby, Pavlich and JLo came out of contract at the same time and it looked like we were going to lose one of them). I remember him saying that it was a real compliment to be pursued by one of the best coaches in the business and for Kernaghan to fly over to Perth for a chat but I'm happy at Fremantle.

Sorry maybe I got the year wrong. It was just after we had our worst season ever.
We were chasing him and he eventually re-signed on with Fremantle. He made the comments when being interviewed about the re-signing and was answering a question about how close he was coming to Carlton.

100% sure he made the comment.
