If Chapman is OUT and Bird is OUT ... I am going to do BIRD to Kornes

Yes he is not scoring that well, but he is a proven perfomer, still getting plenty of the ball, just not using it that well.

Things will turn around. If his lower scores were as a result of not finding the footy it would be a different story.

Big risk I know, but might pay off :cool:

As everyone has mentioned he has been racking then up... just the clangers have been killing him. If not for the clangers he would have went close to 100+ 5 weeks in a row (except last week).

Still finding plently of the ball... just cant use it (have not seen any games just going by figures)

Could be a great pick up that will pay off later in the year :eek:

False alarm, I won my game easily. Don't ask me how. Was my worst week ever in terms of having tons of passengers. Kornes, Mattner, Shaw, Palmer, Stevens, Tippet, Cox, Newman, etc. The list goes on yet I still managed to score 1960 and also had Bradshaw and Burton on the bench! Also picked wrong captain as I picked Judd instead of Pavlich! :o

The day when my team all fires at once will be a joy to behold! :p:D

I have every one of those players in my team, ouch! :(

Although I do think brad johnson may have turned the corner. I was at the game on the weekend with my bro and johnson to me didnt seem to do much yet still got over a 100 points just by kicking a few goals. :thumbsu:

Not sure about cox, hope is doesnt go in for early season surgery or I'm stuffed! Ditto c.cornes! :thumbsd:

Shaw is a fricken joke! Should have stuck to my no collingwood players in my team policy this year! :mad:

Is you being serious (no offense)? Cox has the best average in the league for a ruck by almost 9 points a game, and is 13th highest for all players - while he's been playing injured.

Agreed re Mitchell. I got him just after his 148 in round 7 and since then he's had 5 consecutive sub 100 scores... He was knocked out in r8 but he's probably been my worst trade for the season...

HShaw is annoying. This is what was happening with Gilbee up until a few weeks ago, where he was being semi-tagged, which he just couldn't seem to deal with well. At this stage, Gilbee seems to have handled it better.

On Kornes, he is still a gun. Part of the problem (from an SC perspective) is that he is willing to sacrifice his game in order to do his job well. He doesn't always do it, but there is a risk of him posting some extremely low scores due to the role he is currently playing. Great player though, and despite his poor score last weekend actually showed how good he is in patches i thought.

By the look of the stats he had the happy handball disease this week.
 
I thought he bottomed out when he was at like 450k so I got him. Spewing that I picked him up, shouldv'e just got Ablett.

Kornes score will be up and down week to week, just depending on who he is tagging.

His effectiveness this year has been shocking though :thumbsd:

I traded him in 3 weeks ago. (For Stanton who has typically lifted since). Still happy with Kornes though, but will be the first of my midfielders to be upgraded towards finals if need be.
