It was the first story on 7 news so it seems it will be although Fev had priors which got the media more fun out of it.


We should suspend him for a couple of games and take the captaincy off him imo. He must be made an example of to show the team our culture wont allow such idiocy.

Who cares what Richmond do with Johnson?

It's totally different, Johnson doesn't have priors, he hasn't been given the "one more alcohol-related incident and you're sacked" ultimatum.

If they choose to suspend him/fine him/sack him (as captain), it's their decision, it has nothing to do with Carlton, just like Fevola's incident had nothing to do with Richmond.

For what it's worth, I don't think they'll sack him as Captain, I think they'll fine him and get on with football, after winning Round 1, they'll want to keep the same side in for Round 2

Never called for Fev to be suspended but with Johnson I'm calling for 2 weeks, $10k fine and loss of captaincy, not so we can be seen as being more disciplined than Carlton, but because a player of Johnson's standing and experience should know better especially after the incident with Fevola .
