Worth going after?

A couple people have suggested we give North our first round draft pick, because that's apparently what they want for Carey, then Adelaide gets Carey and we get Kane.

(Before any lurking Kangaroos speak up, let me say that I don't have anything to back this up, just something I've read elsewhere.)

Would he be worth a first round pick, and, if so, could we fit him into our salary cap? Or should we not bother and get a ruckman or something else instead?

I'd take him but we have more pressing needs. I also think we'd struggle to fit him under the cap.

Definatly worth a 1st round pick but as Dave said I doubt we could fit him under the salary cap.

Apparantly Tigers are offering their #4 pick, so I think it is unlikely Sugar will end up at Windy Hill.

Ive heard that Sheeds doesnt want him. He has got pace, skill, determination and heart, something the Essendon midfield doesnt need when you have guys like mcviegh and blumfield there.

I think McVeigh has all of those he just lack consistency which will come with more on field time.
Blumfield still has it in him to be the top line player he was two seasons ago.

And Chris from Brisbane.
