Karasi breaksdown

Just heard on Sky Channel that Karasi broke down in Japan this morning during trackwork. He reportedly strained a flexor muscle and he has been retired immediately.

A very sad ending for a true legend of the Australian turf!!!

Poor old bastard, i thought he would go on forever.

Sucks he wasn't able to have a crack at a 4th jumping title, but he is a champion none the less.

Very unfortunate, by all reports on was right on track to give it a shake for a fourth time. Hopefully he gets well looked after in a nice paddock somewhere... he deserves it!
