oxxy i think you are quite right, completly different leagues and small towns such as stanhope and avenel hardly stand a chance against large towns such as Kyabram. hence the reason why kyabram is in the GVFL and Stanhope, Avanel and VT are in the KDFL.

It was Seymour vs Mansfield, and im telling u that it wasnt a good standard of footy. And as i said, a top KD side would hav done them. U just keep tellin urself how good the GV is and us KD hacks will continue to bow 2 you's :thumbsu:

Tommy Lawler played a good 3 games mate in the guts and FF and BF played some good footy.

Rexmond Issac played great football and also won the medal for the KDFL side.

3 Great games boys you all did well keep it up, great team effort :thumbsu:

Mansfield are really bad.. i was playin Benalla
Junior league last year and Mansfield was in our comp as well. they had a good thirds side last year but i played against a couple of kids that are playing for Mansfield thirds this year and they shouldnt be playing in that league. a kid tryed out for Benalla thirds as a ruckman and he didnt make it. he than tryed out for Mansfield 3rds and got in. Now he is there best player.. i dont no much about Seymour but they must be bad as well ..

Big call Corks!! You do know that some young blokes just want to play for their own town, and with their mates. Some clubs don't have enough boys to have these 'tryouts', and if they want a game of footy they get one. Who cares mate. Funny that you are playing KDL, when are you gonna step up?:D

we are talkin about the GV who someone said was the best under 18 comp in country vic. they have 13 and 12 year old kids playing for them. i live in benalla and was going to try out but i thought i would give it another year because it is the best under 18 comp in country vic and i am 15.. if it is i am to young to be playing that footy. i would rather give it another year and then have a crack.. u do u play for mate supastar:confused:

I am a bit old for the thirds these days.
Also, I would like to know who is playing 12 and 13 year olds?

Dunno about best U/18 comp in vic either. Big call.

mansfield had a couple of kids that play in a comp last year.. it was under 13..
 
whats the story with gig, have they recruited recently or just been under manned up until saturday?

lanky played them with gig at full strength and won by 80points either avenel had a heap out or gig have miraculously turned things around, maybe avenel arnt as good as we think they are.

i honestly cannot believe that Josh Mellington kicked 10 on the weekend. He is very small and not that good. He came out of A division in the BDJFL which is the worst league in australia and hes kicking 10 goals in the KDL. Just goes to show what an average league you blokes play in. You all carry on that niko abley and all these kids are soo good, why arent the playing quality footy for good teams in good leagues?? its pretty easy to be a big fish in a small pond!

piss off.. these kids are fifteen years old, nick lives in vt and will probably play gvfl next year, his mates have decided to come play with him for a year and get use to u/18 footy instead of playing in the benalla junior comp(which has produced some very good footballers) im pretty sure all the benalla boys and nick will be wearing saints jumper if not next year def the year after.. they are a pretty talented bunch of kids even if melzo is a sheep dog!

BDJFL has produced some pretty handy footballers in its time. Wouldn't at least half of Benalla Saints seniors, reserves and thirds have started their football there.....if not more....
These boys have all made an excellent start to their U/18's football, regardless that it is with a minor league team. And considering they have another 3 years of it to go i'm sure they'll be able to mix with you BIG BOYS in your GUN LEAGUE within the next few years....
Bit of luck our way and they'll stay in the same jumper but if they do head off to play GV to better their football all the best to them

You are a joke mate! Nobody has been pumping up Nick and hav u heared Josh Brag about his 10? No. Its also pretty easy 2 be a small fish in a big pond like yourself no doubt. U do know that playin GV means shi t, its what u contribute 2 the teams performance, go back to the thread where u fit in with the other meatheads.
