Odd statement. All the people of middle eastern background over here have no idea?
You do realise the Döner kebab (which is what we eat) was invented in Berlin, right? Its predominantly Turkish, and Australia has nothing on Berlin's Turkish population. And they have proper restaurants to serve the stuff, not just greasy vans and cheap restaurants like Australia.
The only kebab I had in Berlin was 90% cabbage. I was hammered, and still hated every bite.
I doubt that very much.

I'm sure there's plenty more options given the population, but there are decent places here. Not a fan of the cheap manufactured meat doner places too.

The Persian styled place I've been going to recently is sensational.

Berlin kebabs are unreal (and cheap).

Are you sure you ordered a kebab? Perhaps in your intoxicated German they misunderstood what you wanted?

Yeah **** me German kebabs. Had some great ones in Malaga, Spain as well, which were like burritos: but kebab ingredients inside, a thinner wrap outside. But yeah Berlin's street food is nearly the best shit you can have. They shouldn't even be considered kebabs they're so good. I was easily polishing off two in a day.
