Bowyer - gone - he is hard at it, but has bad skills and doesn't really stop anyone
Clarke - gone - can run quick, but that's about it
Morrell - gone - poor man's Lance Whitnall, so he obviously struggles
Longmuir - gone - has talent, but for mine just doesn't do enough
Chambers - been injured all year - will get another year to prove himself
Bannister - gone - they've gone of him this year after finishing 10th in last years B&F as a tagger
McGrath - I think he'll be given another year, purely because he is a little more versitile than the others
Johnson - gone - can win the footy, but has poor kicking skills and is awefully slow
Prendergast - gone - no explanation needed
Davies - gone - has had enough time to cement his place.

- Bowyer- like his toughness, needs to be in a top team so his defficinences are not exposed. from what i hear good club bloke. think will be let go
- Clarke- will go
- Morrell- likely to go, will make way as each year list needs to be turned over
- Longmuir- this guy could be anything needs a big pre season under his belt, give him 1 more year
- Chambers- i think still contracted, has shown glimpses but need consistency. if no contract will be let go
- Bannister- will go
- McGrath- keep, he is quick good left foot on most ocassions. good as a shutdown player, release carazzo into midfield
- Johnson- clearance player. keep is a handy player, gets his hands on the ball a bit, needs running players around him.
- clarke- likely to be used as a trade
- prendergast- will depend if we can get another decent ruckmen. likely to make way.

From that list of players i'd only really consider keeping McGrath (his recent form has been ok), Chambers (has pace, needs to overcome his injury though) and Longmuir (don't have a sensible reason for this one).

The rest are liabilities to an already struggling side. I doubt they will be used as trade bait due to lack of popularity, but you may see them running in the Eastern League next year.

i'd keep mcgrath, johnson, morrell and maybe davies. we have to keep longmuir and chambers cos of their contracts and i think they are handy players wen they arnt injured.
we could do with keeping morrell cos he gives us added height wen we need it and can play forward and back. he will probably be fevs replacement at ff if he gets injured (cos whitnall will get traded).

I'd keep McGrath, Morrell and Davies.

McGrath is the most obvious given recent performances.
Morrell...we need a big body to replace KPP players at least for next year (e.g. Thornton, Livo, Whitnall when they are injured)...hopefully by the end of 2006 other players (e.g. Hartlett, Setanta) can begin to fill these gaps. After that you'd think he'd struggle to play purely as a 3rd tall.
Davies...he's got talent and a few more kilos of muscle over summer will make a hell of a difference (as it would to some of the other midfielders).

Agree on most there, few who might have the remainder of the year to play for their careers:
Longmuir - has got talent, everyone knows that!! showed some gritt on the weekend and wouldnt mind seeing how he fairs for the remainder of the year. If he can produce 2/3 more good games in the remaining rds hold onto to him.
Davies has soo much ability and fights for the ball, would be the only other one i wouldnt mind if they dont delist

Guys, Longmuir didn't have a pre-season lol. That's why he has been no good for the first half of the season, now you can see the talent he has over the last 2 weeks because he is just about 100 percent fit.

Chris Bryan- keep- Not the greatest ruckman but he's a big body and has great footskills
Scott Camporeale- Trade/keep - Look for a trade for him and if we can't find something suitable we keep him
Andrew Carrazzo- keep- definate keeper, will be a 10 year player
Adrian Deluca- keep- backup ruckman
Brendan Fevola- trade/keep- see if we can get a top class midfielder for him
Bradley Fisher- keep - what a great kid
Barnaby French- keep - won't be around for much longer but we need a ruckman and he's ours
Adam Hartlett- 1st year player
Ryan Houlihan- trade/keep- big disappointment for me this year
Brett Johnson- keep -won't be a long term player for the club but he has his good days and will protect the kids from the deep end until they're ready to take over
Anthony Koutoufides- keep -great champion of the club
Matthew Lappin- trade/keep- I love Matty but he aint getting a three year contract unless it's for minimum wage.
Luke Livingston- keep- he's already got a 2 year contract so this is a moot point
Karl Norman- ? -Lots of talent but a terrible attitude
Anthony Raso- first year player
Jordan Russell- first year player
Heath Scotland- keep -is good enough when he starts running
Kade Simpson- keep -all class, can't wait to see him blossom
Trent Sporn- gone- a big disappointment
Nick Stevens- keep -had a trouble season but he's had his excuses
David Teague- keep -ditto above but we're beginning to see him get back to his best
Bret Thornton- keep -not his best season and I've been a dit disappointed with him at times but he's a class defender
Jarrad Waite- keep - another of our top kids
Andrew Walker- keep - disposal is disappointing for such a high pick but it's more mental than technical
Lance Whitnall- trade/keep- If we can give him up for a class midfielder or a top 10 draft pick I'll be relatively happy
Simon Wiggins- gone - useless

i think carlton may have lost patience with norman,
if he is selected this week then he may be given one more year,
if not then were can be pretty sure he is gone at season's end.
