We don't know he's on drugs and if he is, is he a full blown addict or was he just on a bender? There is no real withdrawl symptoms from coke or ice. It's not a physical addiction. The worst he'll get is a bad come down.
This is completely wrong just so you know. Not an opinion, a fact.

Whatever the situation is, Kerr's parents know far more than anyone else, so if they feel it's better to not post bail then others with no knowledge should just keep out of it.

It's like a metaphysical addiction.
I always see people posting it on the internet and I can never figure out where the myth started. The use/abuse leading to an addiction directly influences the chemical makeup of your brain. Unless the brain exists outside of the physical realm it makes no sense.

Whether its a drug problem or not the guy clearly needs help :(

That's a generalisation

One way of looking at drug addiction and being able to group them is mental or physical addiction. Coming off cocaine, there's not sore muscles, vomiting, tremors etc that you might experience from heroin or alcohol.

It's far easier for someone locked in a jail cell to come off coke/ice than it is heroin or alcohol. That's why people make the distinguish.

Not to make light of a situation, but..

Conjugal visits? Mmmm. Not that I know of. Y'know, minimum-security prison is no picnic. I have a client in there right now. He says the trick is: kick someone's ass the first day, or become someone's bitch. Then everything will be all right. W-Why do you ask, anyway?

My point is this: are you kidding? I think anyone fighting obvious personal problems and looming imprisonment is entitled to struggle with that reality. Get a grip sir.

I only know two people who did serious jail time. Both through a friend who went to a rough school and they were hardnuts. One was a good fighter and did OK. He did an apprenticeship inside and came out alright. The other said in confidence (and this was back in his early days there) that a group of guys grabbed him and held him down and he got r*ped by some fat asian dude. People say Australian jails are not like US prisons, but really there is a lot going on that we don't know about - who wants to own up to that shit.

Moral of story - I would be packing my dacks as well.

Also don't agree with the idea of leaving somebody in jail as tough love. If anything, most people come out of jail a lot more screwed up then when they entered.

You come across as a real meat head. Your words on this are very stupid but I think it's the best you can do.
I'm not even sure I have a massive problem with what he's done (depends on why he did it). But at the end of the day he has to take his punishment like a man. On another perspective, Kerr has constantly done dumb things over and over again. I don't have a massive problem with it, but why do you think he's above criticism or ridicule?

I think it's more the fact you ridiculed him for breaking down and allegedly crying/sobbing, as if he is some kind of pussy for showing emotion or crying. It's 2014 mate, we don't need to prance around and talk feelings all day but there nothing wrong with a grown man showing emotion or crying if needed.

Most people going to prison are fighting a personal problem. All of a sudden you have a soft spot for one of them?

I stand by what I said. If it did happen then he's a pussy.
