Being at the game tonight, it seemed Richmond really lacked a key target up forward.
Schultz obviously hasn't developed into the player you'd hope he would/had the potential to be, and the situation probably wouldn't have changed much tonight, given the lack of inside 50s.
However, with Richo gallivanting around the ground in what is definitely a positive move, the team is lacking someone it can bomb the ball down to.
Riewoldt's looking like he's got a great pair of hands, but he needs to be a second/third forward, as with Morton - a first forward needs to run straight at goal from 25m out, not run 3m to the right and snap it.

On a side note, in the all-too-brief times Richmond seemed to have a bit of momentum with the ball in their hands, there were often many players running along with the ball carrier and through the middle, yet too often one player would take it on himself to go for a run and try to bomb it forward. Unfortunately, going solo resulted in them getting under pressure, slicing the kick, and turning the ball over due to the team-mates running alongside him and not being 35m in front of him - little more composure needed.

riewoldt cant kick for nuts like nick, morton is a cherry picker, too bad he lacks stamina like his younger brothers, schultz was alright but always get moved around so is unsettled.

when they moved richo up forward they lost a lot of drive throught the middle.
