Reading the scoring rules etc im syill unclear if Maddisons zero will count as emergency cover
Very interesting. Atavistic's right that it could have been worded much better, but I think it's pretty clear it means that if Maddinson is in the on-field 11 then his zero counts and he won't be replaced as he's not a "non-playing" player. But if he's one of the emergencies his zero won't be used to replace a non-playing player.

It was bound to. Can't keep a good man down :)

I'm not sure what 3/500 means in this game though. For example, I've had 3 Strikers play along with 4 players who only have the one game this round for a total of 481, so does that make me 7/481 because 7 players have played so far or 4/481 because only 4 players have finished their round? Then there's how to include the captain. He plays again too so I could be 4/481 or 4(c)/481 or 7/481 or 7(c)/481. SuperCoach is so much easier :D

9/659 or would you count the players with a double round as .5? If so, then it's 7/659 (4 double round players).

Cartwright is on the scrapheap after this week as he won't score big unless he gets a chance to bat, and he's too far down the order. Not to mention he isn't being given any overs to bowl.

Carey - 121
Johnson - 109
Willey - 83
Bravo - 66
Khan - 65
Head (C) - 49
Laughlin - 47
Cartwright - 4

Players who still have a game to go dont count in running tally

So for all strikers, include their game 1 points but not in the man played tally

It's just 5/659. Don't count a player in the tally until they finish their final game for the round. 2/490 for me.

Hilton probably also on the outer for my team. The next set of trades is going to be crucial in separating the wheat from the chaff. Most of us will be carrying 5 strikers on the bench next round, so the full depth of the rest of the squad will be tested, and getting the balance right with Sixers players is going to be tricky.

One nice part of it is the Sixers play the second game, so we can have a look at a couple of Thunder/Hurricanes players (if you have them) and maybe decide to trade out a Striker if one of them fails.

Where was that form when you were in my team?

Seriously, what's going on with the rules of this game? The Big Bash itself that is, not this fantasy one.
They review absolutely everything related to whether a catch was taken or even if a player's foot brushed the line when fielding near the boundary, but the biggest drawcard in the game can be wrongly given out caught behind when the replay clearly shows his bat missed the ball by a good inch and no one bothers to even look at it. For Christ's sake either ignore technology completely or use what you have available but give us some consistency.

Edit:
No, bugger that. You shouldn't have that choice. Use the technology available to you and GET IT RIGHT!
