I good way to shut up Eddie Maguire for the night on the footy show next week is to make sure the Crows beat Collingwood this week.

I wonder if he will say f-ck sake this week if the crows beat collingwood like he did when Brisbane beat the pies in the 2002 Grand Final

But in all reality it's still only another piece of silverware to put in the trophy cabinet somewhere on the bottom shelf way down below the 2 worth-while premierships cups we won in 97/98,

But if we don't win it so be it the real season starts in 2 weeks time against the Dockers in Adelaide,

I'd love to see us finally take home the damn thing (seeing the Vic glee when we were beaten by Essendon in 1994 and North in 1995 was annoying) not to mention taking the 200 grand that goes to the winner.

However, I think the Pies' ability to kick 9 pointers will do us in... they got 5 on the weekend for heavens sake! Hopefully Goody can match Buckley, who will be setting the radar as we speak.
