Does anyone know where the Crows rank in turning kick outs into goals, that stat that was so big a few years back. We must be high up with the way Stiffy gets the ball in so accurately.

Yep, they seem to have a very effective method in place. Their midfield huddle works very well in a team that runs as hard as the Crows do.

BTW, checked the calendar recently?

Yeah, winter started last week and I was wondering why it was getting so bloody cold now.:D

Don't know our stats but this area is one that has improved hugely since Craig took over. In Gary's day it was usually Ben Hart having a token cursory look for a short option and invariably kicking it long to a contest to a half back flank for a ball up. In fact I remember Malcolm Blight saying this was the best option available as it didn't usually result in an opposition goal. How times have changed.

Stone cold last, according to this.

Surprising. It'd be interesting to see that stat as a percentage, rather than as purely a goals total. After all, the Crows have had to kick in less than any other team this season.

What I could never work out with Ben Hart was why it was so common for him to go out of the square during the kick-in. Thankfully Stiffy never has this problem.

very true mate :thumbsu:

You would need to gross up our stats by 30 odd percent to get a meaningful comparison
