I had to make a post about the names parents give thier kids these days.

2 in particular - Jagger Mooney and Baxter Notting. What were thier parents thinking? They sound terrible on thier own but reading it out loud..........

Chris Crossin is pretty bad as well.

Or...Coco Cox-Arquette..Apple perhaps?

I sometimes think that parents are locked in a contest for the worst baby name creations.
 
it's not just the names of kids, but also the spelling.
Minor spelling variances are fair enough if your culture prefers a K over a C or a Y instead of an I, but silent ph's and random y's and x's are just plain confusing :o

Me too. One of my pet peeves. Especially when it's a regular name and the poor little sod is going to have his/her name spelt wrong for the rest of their life. Know of one bogan mother who heard the name Siobhan but the stupid cow called her daughter Chivon as she thought it was the way it was spelt. If you hear a name - look it up FFS and know it's ethnic origin.
 
An American sprinter who was in the recent world champs name is J-Mee Samuels.

The maternity ward should come with a book of baby names then the parents can check out the spelling off all the names and then the kids will be better off.;)
 
Know a couple who have named their two daughters Chanelle and Chantelle... Yeah, real class :rolleyes:

That's very clever, and creative too, imagine that adding a T to a name I bet no one else could have thought of that one.

That's where Adam Selwood went wrong. After reading Des Headland's arm and saying "Madisan, I ****ed her last night."
And Headland replied "What are you talking about, that's my 6-year old daughter."
Instead of saying "Yeah, she's a ****", what Selwood should have said was "You must be a bogan to spell her name like that".
