I can't believe that this is the third person its killed. Seriously take a hint you ****ing morons! Disgraceful, maybe this girlwould be alive otherwise. Maybe they don't want to put it down (I would but that's me ) but they should at least stop people from "playing" with it.

well that's the mistake she apparently made,she never should've been in the water playing with the whale.
As for being the 3rd,one of the three was a homeless guy who got into the enclosure one night.It's not known if he died from hypothermea or due to the whale.

Must be the worst coronor in the world, i'd imagine its pretty easy to tell the difference between a hypothermia death and someone mauled by a huge whale.

The Orca didn't maul him, but he may have dragged the sucker down to the bottom and drowned him. Or the guy got hypothermia and then drowned. Either way, the guy was a moron for getting in there in the first place.

My post was in jest. However, the fact remains there is no way that it could be unclear if died as a result of the whale or from hypothermia as stated in a previous post.

Because, they are a predatory animal. They hunt for Sea Lions, Seals, Walruses mainly, but rarely Humans in the wild. Like I have said previously, if the Orca had been in the wild where it belongs, the trainer would still be alive today.

The Killer Whale name, I reckon is just a myth, considering the rare attacks on humans.

From the sounds of it this was just a tragic accident, the only reason it is being so talked about is because it's not the 1st time someone has died around this whale.

They found the guy's naked body draped over the whale. He died of hypothermia but the whale had also bitten him. They did not know if he was bitten before or after he died, but it was still hypothermia that claimed him.

I think he asked the orca for 50 cents because his mum was very sick and he needed money for the bus fare to visit her. Dont think the orca bought it by the sounds of it. Unlucky.

The whale had a bit of a size advantage and responded with, 'Why don't you get in here and say that?' One thing led to another and now we have a dead trainer on our hands...

Don't **** with Killer Whales.

But seriously, it's about time they stop the practice of having Killer Whales for our entertainment. They're not the most placid animals in the world.

This may also be a case of the whale having snapped after constantly being called a "Killer". Probably thought if everyone is going to call me a killer I might as well be one.

The lesson to come from this is to only call Killer Whales Orcas unless they have actually killed someone.
