Kirk is unbreakable. Even I've been critical of his form of late but I think he had a good game last night and his return to the ground from the rooms after being stretchered off last night was truly inspirational stuff, deserving of the standing ovation he recieved. The good news today is that he's OK: http://afl.com.au/default.asp?pg=news&spg=display&articleid=283017

Although I'm not sure coming out so soon to the bench was probably the best thing for him, strictly speaking. The lift he gave the crowd by re-emerging was one of the highlights on the night.

Yeah, his head must have been pounding but i'm sure he would have wanted the guys and the fans to know he was alright.

Brett Kirk is one of, if not the most inspirational players in AFL. His leadership and endeavor at the footy still amazes me. Brett Kirk gotta love him.

He is such an inspiration, but yes he lacks in skills. But he is full of inspiration and he can, literally, turn the game around. Just like the finals against Saints. What an inspiring champion. Loved it when he walked out onto the grounds, loved the standing ovation!
