Enjoying this game immensely, it's a great base for expanded incarnations down the track, so firstly, let me thank you BigAnt for making this possible.

ISSUE
Now, When the Player gains possession in single player mode, The Red inverted triangle which indicates that you now have the ball fills up with a White triangle.

My issue with this, is that the AI possession indicator is also White, meaning that gathering the ball in a pack isn't nearly as easy to distinguish as it should be, as the White AI indicator sometimes overlaps your Red player indicator, giving the impression that you have the ball when in fact you dont.

SOLUTION
Instead of filling the inverted triangle indicator with White when gaining possession, just solidify the existing colour.
E.G: I'm player 1, I get the ball and my inverted Triangle indicator becomes solid Red, to avoid any further issues in congestion.

Thanks for hearing me out guys, because there's nothing worse thank thinking you've gathered the ball then sprinting out of a pack, only to realise you've given the opposition an easy clearance the other way. :eek:

Yes!!! I get caught out by this all the time!
 
I've noticed that sometimes when I interchange a player, the interchanged player will spawn out of thin air in the centre of the ground.

Also, sometimes when I mark the ball the game will say that I've played on when I haven't even pressed a button. It happens once or twice per game, and yes the kicks are always more than 15m. Sometimes it'll be a long 40m kick and it still happens.

I've played a few single games on XBOX 360, and in the last quarter there are a huge amount of injuries that occur. Is this due to having the injury setting on 'extreme'?
 
not reading the thread but this happened to me in a game recently

it was in the 2nd half and after each behind i kicked, the AI would do the same kick out and if they managed to get a mark, their player would instantly snap it back towards the goals.
rinse and repeat.
 
What I meant was why do all the injuries come at once? All of sudden in the last quarter half your team is crippled with injuries. The injuries shouldn't all occur at the one time, they should be spread across the whole game, even if the setting is on 'extreme'.

Most likely due to fatigue the players become more susceptible to injuries.

It has been said that the frequent occurrence of injuries is a bug and will be patched in the upcoming patch.

Oh tell me about it, On Legend the AI can be so cheap, I'm going for the Nabbed trophy atm so i'm playing 20 minute quaters on Legend.

I was leading by 25 at half time, but in the second quarter I just couldn't win the ruck, it was impossible. AI kicked 5 goals straight and there was only 3 minute gone on the clock. I ended up winnin by 11 but only after coming back from 12 points down.

This reminds me of playing NBA Jam sometimes how the AI can just go on a rage and become almost unstoppable...
 
I like how momentum plays a big factor though. Was playing as Gold Coast against Port :)D) on Legend difficulty and was losing by 20 points early, then kicked six goals in a row. Then Port came back and kicked another three in a row. I think those sort of momentum swings are true to life (although Schulz kicked 7, so maybe not totally true to life :p)
 
its not a big thing but kicked a left foot goal a torpedo from inside the centre square with travis cloke but the ball spins as a right footer kicked it! not a big thing but noticeable

A torpedo can be kicked on the inside or outside of the boot. :rolleyes:

Hi Guys,

Anyone had this issue. I brought the game yesterday for my Boy's.

When we play in any mode other than Single Mode.

For example. In Season mode we play on the easiest setting as we are learning the game. In the Controller section a extra controller come up on your selected team the seventh Controler. Which you can not take off.

When you play the game it only allows you to use halve your team. It is very annoying, when you get the halve of the team that is controlled by this it just stands there.

Is there any fix for this or do we have to wait for a patch?

Double check you don't have an extra controller on and check bluetooth devices to see if that's the problem.

1/ If I'm starting a game and I pause the menu before the ruck men go for it. I change my ruck men and then when the ball its thrown up my ruck men is no where to be found until after the ball is hit then he magically appears.

2/ No matter how many times I've played interstate teams at there home ground using a VIC based club as my team I cannot unlock the achievement for beating an interstate team.

3/ When I play online I never hear the umps whistle after a mark has been taken.
 
Think I found an actual bug last night. Ball kicked towards goal, skids on and hits the far post. Instead of being a point it pops back into play (snapped a six pointer from the rebound).

Overall I love this game, and love it more and more with every play.:)

These are on Xbox.

1. Cannont get the "Storming Home" Achivement in a Normal season or quick match or online. And i have beaten teams that dont even score.

2. Cannont get the "Beat an Interstate team at there home ground" Once again tryed Season and single match and i know i bet Port Adelaide at AAMI and Sydney At ANZ (which might not be there home) in the season...

3. When playing online it dosent tell you how many people your playing againts. I played against 4 people at once and the only way i knew that was at the center bounce all there on ballers would run forward for a punch b 4 the ump had even bounced the ball.. I still beat them just; but it was hard and i tad un fair.

4. Not a bug but a suggestion can we know who we are playing online b 4 we play them..

Great Game and will only get alot better with dev.

Tom Scully is playing as a right footer, when in fact he's a left footer.

Have you watched him play b 4? I watched him a few times in his last year in the TAC cup (Im a big Gipps power supporter) and in the final against Power at Visy Park he would kick one on his left then the next on his right all day and he did this most of the season too, i know he is a left footer but his right really is (or looks) just as natrual.. He is a great player also just for some more info in that game at Visy park Dyson Heppel had over 40 touches and really ripped it..SUPERSTAR.:thumbsu:

Had a couple where Dennis called it a goal and it actually hit the post. Also one (this is on PS3) where Robbie Gray was having a shot at goal, he didn't play on but using the exploit where you can sort of move forward past the mark, I basically stood right next to him and he kicked it into me. He then proceeded to celebrate and Dennis called it a goal :D

You have to be behind at three quarter time.

The game just crashed on me in the team management screen. It was really weird. I was making some interchanges using the quick interchange and my RR was completely missing. The "Followers" section only had the RUC and the ROV. So I went into team management to check if it was the same and the game crashed.

Made a heap of created players and put them on the gold coast team. There were multiples with the number 1.
