It doesn't look like he has requested a trade back to Victoria specifically, at least it doesn't say so in that article.

Good for us, opens up a few more options possibly.

Looks like Team Swift has won.

Will we get anything for him other than pick #87 to help accommodate the move?

We like to think our players are worth a nice draft pick, but truth is he has shown nothing at AFL level.

i think pendlebury name dropping him in that HS article has boosted his trade value

ralphy and co on twitter seem to be suggesting a bit of interest amongst vic clubs. not that the journos ever really know shit anyway though.

sad to see him go, hope we can get someone with pace, seems thats what were after.

anyone who thinks WELLINGHAM is the answer to our midfield problems is delusional.

we need to target players who will rectify the problem not compound it.

People, if you're going to discuss the Wellingham rumours, or who to bring in, please go to the megathread. If it's too hard for people to comprehend I'll just lock this thread again.

Thanks :)

We can talk about a Wellingham Stevens deal though, right Swannies? Cause thats what most people are doing.

It's an unrealistic deal though. Why would Stevens go to Collingwood, to be 9th in line, can't see it happening, sorry, discuss away though.

Good luck to Koby though. :thumbsu:

but koby's actually amazingly good and it's entirely west coast's fault he hasn't been able to break into our starting 22......

chill out. i swear the mods here are obsessed with locking/moving threads

Collingwood could do with another inside grunt. Sydney destroyed them when it came to winning the hardball. Pendlebury can't do it all by himself. Whether they will go for him or not is another matter. Just because Woosha didn't give him a game doesn't mean that another coach won't.

Debatable. Not to mention Swan and Beams gather there fair share of CP.
