I think we could all ease off on KG a bit.
Nothing wrong with following a team because of a player. When I was young I started following Hawthorn because of Peter Hudson.
I am sure that apart from brainwashed kids (like my 3 young ones ) most people start following a team because of a player, geographical location or because that particular team happens to be a successful one at the time (Essendon of recent times in the AFL).

Sorry I thought the thread was about 'Koulouriotis' so how could it be a dead issue? If you read between the lines you will see I don't rate him and due to this don't think he will make the Geelong team unless they are really desperate. Given Geelongs form I can't see it happening.

As for having a go at KG, nah, I very much doubt she takes me seriously anyway.

Nothing wrong with stirring the pot and she responds at the smell of a Koulouriotis thread.

Im sure she would still tell you that Koula should be in our starting 18 and that he would be an All-Australian by now if chosen.

I take anything seriously that unjustly denigrates Paul, and I find it offensive that some people resort to such measures in an attempt to annoy me. I think something is wrong with anyone who tries that, and I find it personally offensive that these people can't sort out whatever problems they may have with me directly and off the boards.
Oh, and I'd just tell you that Koula deserves a shot. Which, I understand, he may well get.

Where in the Bigfooty code of ethics does it state you can't unjustly denigrate a player because it might annoy another poster, you need to let go.

Good luck to Koula if he gets his chance but I feel we have heard all of this before.

My first post in this thread only asked the question of vicpride99 to see if he was related as it has been a while since the Koulouriotis name has come up on our board.

Nine minutes later you write a post after being absent from our board for quite sometime. Its just quite uncanny you would find the thread so quickly, reminds me of the times I send a little dig to Adam Kingsley and then Porthos replies with his famous Ansett Cup photo.

Sure I may have stirred the pot a little but its not my fault you are like a fish to bait, silence can sometimes be the best answer.
