To have not cheered a champion is a disgrace, good thing we did, because I would be severly embarassed otherwise.
It would be like booin' Teddie Whitten. I love champions.
I for one don't like our cheersquad. After sitting behind them a few years ago I realised why Collingwood supporters are so hated. I don;t mind younger kids in there but the old tossers like Joffa wreck it for me.The Collingwood fans in the crowd did a fantastic job, however, the behaviour of the cheer squad was disgraceful. To be putting the banner up and down all throughout his introduction and lap of honour showed a complete lack of class, which unfortunately, doesnt surprise me.
Once again, the Pies fans in the stands were great, but you need to have a good hard look at the pathetic behaviour of the cheer squad.

Was at the opposite end of the ground, but I saw everyone stand and give him a standing ovation when he passed. What more can you ask for.
I would predict booing of Nathan Buckley if the roles were reversed.
