I cheered him today but I have to say when he was on the footy show and said he was a Pies supporter as a kid and wanted to play for them I almost broke down in tears for what could have been. :p

To have not cheered a champion is a disgrace, good thing we did, because I would be severly embarassed otherwise.

Likewise. Meanwhile, two dicks in front of me were booing Clement after he collapsed and came off the ground (he came off right in front of us). Classy.

The Collingwood fans in the crowd did a fantastic job, however, the behaviour of the cheer squad was disgraceful. To be putting the banner up and down all throughout his introduction and lap of honour showed a complete lack of class, which unfortunately, doesnt surprise me.

Once again, the Pies fans in the stands were great, but you need to have a good hard look at the pathetic behaviour of the cheer squad.

I for one don't like our cheersquad. After sitting behind them a few years ago I realised why Collingwood supporters are so hated. I don;t mind younger kids in there but the old tossers like Joffa wreck it for me.

I think you need to grow up a bit. I'm not a fan of the cheersquad at all, but from what I could tell, they gave Kouta a fairly good send off. Better than I expected. They were all clapping and flags were waving. I'm not sure what else you could expect from them really. The people holding the banner also clapped him off the ground.

The cheer squad needs to be nuked, thats something ive been wanting for years.

I don't think it shows any lack of respect. The cheer squad who remained in the stands while the banner was erected all stood up and applauded Kouta.

Was at the opposite end of the ground, but I saw everyone stand and give him a standing ovation when he passed. What more can you ask for.

I would predict booing of Nathan Buckley if the roles were reversed.

Even though as he was an opposition player and that I respected him, talented footballer, glad to hear there were Pie fans showing respect to him. I'd like to think other fans would do that if one of our players were out there after their retirement.

You idiot

I hate the cheersquad but they get limited time out there to put up the banner so if Kouta or any other player happens to be doing a lap of honour at the same time they shouldnt stop for it

100% garbage. Any Carlton supporter who jeered Buckley would be howled down by his own. It just wouldn't happen.
