Pfft, Krezja was the best spinner at NSW. But I suppose he was never going to get a go with MacGill, Hauritz and Casson there. Good luck to him, I imagine it won't be long before he displaces Doherty, who is very limited.

Krejza would have his eye on the number 7 spot for Tassie in the Pura Cup side. With their pace depth they're not going to play a spinner in a bowler's spot away from the SCG any time soon.

Stupid thread

Krejza is a good bowler, not much worse than Cullen. Wouldn't be surprised to see him get a game for the first XI soon. Doherty is more of a one day bowler.

Krejza is no chance of getting a spot in the 1st XI. i would hope our selectors would chose a local young spinner over a battling NSW reject.

His figures in the current 2nd XI game are:

1st innings 24-3-88-0 & a duck
2nd innings 5-0-47-0 & currently 24*

Hardly pushing for selection on the back of those. Doherty is a much better bowler (and probably batsmen), just lacking a little confidence to toss the ball up due to the demands of the one-day game. I think ODI will see the end of the real quality spinners.

EDIT: Krejza just dismissed for 24. He is on fire since landing in Tassie.

Krezja > Doherty in 4D cricket. Doherty is a very serviceable one day bowler. Probably doesn't quite do enough in 4D cricket to get blokes out. Krezja is more prepared to be hit.
