Krruzer vs. Maric

Who would you prefer in your team?

Hard working Kreuzer or big Ivan Maric who had a breakout 2012?

Maric is the better player at the moment (hard to argue against that given 2012 form, which is the most objective guide we have right now). But obviously moving forward most would take the younger, more potential, number 1 draft pick in Kruezer.

Maric for me. His around the ground marking is excellent.

Both would work well in tandem with Naitanui but the time period would be greater if it was Kruezer.

Maric was bog with 3 goals yesterday suggesting he might be pushing forward a little more this year. That was the one thing lacking in his game last year in comparison to the AA rucks. Definitely a risk he might drop back this year though, but generally ruckmen who hit their straps in their mid-20's have 3 or 4 good years at least.

Maric has had one super year...lets see if he can back that up.

Maric was clearly better last year.

If Kreuzer can finally get over his injury troubles and stay as the lone ruck men then I feel as though, he'll be better long term.

Kreuzer has been a huge disappointment though he is in good company at the Blues who have a shocking strike rate in developing their blue-chip picks into top AFL players

great game last night with both players performing well. kreuzer one of carltons best in a night they'd rather forget..

Kreuzer -13 kicks 5 handballs 6 marks 4 tackles 20 hitouts and 2.2 on the scoreboard

Maric - 6kicks 10 handballs 3 marks 3 tackles and 30 hitouts

I really liked kreuzers game even if he didnt win the tapouts. he hit the scoreboard when resting forward and was really good around the ground hitting targets by foot and being a genuine link man in a poor showing by carlton.

I didn't see a lot of the first half, but I was really impressed with what I saw of Kreuzer in general play in the 2nd. Was the best I'd seen him play for a while. He's been cruelled by injury.

Agree both players were good without either being dominant. I'd be happy with either of their games first up.

I was impressed with Kreuzers work rate and his tank, it's huge.
