I was one of the first to criticise Ratts last week, but credit where credit is due, he did well today and we had a good win, White played well, Sentanta moved down back in the 3rd, Hendo played up the ground at times and the coach managed to fire up the boys !!!

So slap on the back to Ratts :thumbsu:

Well done Ratts.
Would be nice if we could develop a plan to get the ball out of the back half from a kick in. If we chip it around the boundary line, it will eventually break down. Maybe just once, we take them on, run the ball out, and try to get the ball over the zone. But, other than that, well coached Ratts.

I reckon when O'Keefe finally hits the field you will see us going long out of defence.

This is why i dont post on here much, one minute its sack Ratts, then its Kudos ratts! Just support the club and its decisions through the good and bad. At least there are a few on here apologizing.

You stuck right up em Ratts, you stuck it right up em................ what a bloody relief

Well I wasn;t quite sack Ratts, but he did have a really bad bad day at the office last week, he has yet to have a win against the Bummers and that IS really disappointing, becuase they aren;t that good... they don;t seem to bring the best out in him !

I do support my team through thick and thin, but I criticised Ratts during the week and rightfully, but really good to see him and the team bounce back with a really excellent win today.

A proud Blue right now !

Amazing how much difference one week can make! This day last week supporters were calling for Ratten's head while the Bummers were praising Knights. The tables have well and truly turned this week.

All is good again. We have four points in the bag, a bit of extra % and can watch the hawks and filth beat the living crap out of each other tonight.
Hope Ratts can find something against the catters next week.

Me too! :thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:

You would have to be joking. The way we constantly tried to slow things up was pathetic and had they kicked better for goal we may have lost.

Let us not forget the crows are a rabble at the moment and on form are the 2nd worst team in the AFL.

I am very happy with the win but our second half was as bad a brand of football as we have played for 3 years.

Only simple minds swing from week to week, our game plan (still not sure we have one) is terrible.

We won today because we are at full strength and the crows cannot even beat Melbourne

Ill give Ratten some praise when he actually works out a successful way of getting the ball out of defense. I didn't agree with the changes he made to the side but apart from us not having a good matchup for Burton I think most of his moves were spot on. Will be very interesting to see what side he picks next week...

Not at full strength, Waite, Bower, Thornton......

Happy pill anyone :)

Good win over there, nice to see the players come to play.

Kudo's to Ratts, he made a few nice moves, so well done. Pressure game for him and the players.

Caveat Emptor - The crows are bad, How bad? Real bad, it was nice to watch a game where the opp couldnt kick for goal for once :)

Am happy to congrats Ratts and the players, not taking anything back tho, next 3 games are against teams who are not rabble, lets see what happens shall we.

Have a beer tonight boys :)

I know it's still early in the year, but I would like to nominate this for dumbest post of the year.

We were short 4 run on players today so we were not at full strength.

There was an interesting stat during the SEN broadcast... Adelaide have almost 800 games more experience than we do...

And they still butchered it.

And as for not beating Melbourne... I see to see a 1 point loss for the D's against the filth... I think that you are underplaying Melbourne's capabilities this year.

For your nomination for dumbest, I give you the post of the year Mr. D
Good work :D :thumbsu:

shouldn't this thread have a poll?
I was nervous still in the 3rd and start of the 4th but we stuck to it.
Adelaide gave us the room Richmond allowed. Not many teams will do that.
I hate inconsistent work rates
Happy with the win but makes last week all the more a disgrace

I was a bit nervous at the start of the last but then the boys dug in and pulled away again...

I'm glad the Blues have made your weekend. You are in for a lot of bad weekends in the coming years.

I am with Incog - nice to have a win but it was a terrible terrible game (Can't remember in Ratts time when I immediately erased the game without a rewatch)
But as BB said during the week we have many out of form and that had to help a few (Adelaide's dismal effort shows how it is about form not just ability - they were nothing like the team we have played in the past)
