I was just watching fox sports news and there was a story on Kurt Tippett having a shoulder reconstruction today after dislocating his shoulder playing in the SANFL on the weekend. This meaning he is out for the season.

Can anyone confirm this?? If this is true does that basically mean that we have Ivan Maric as the only fit ruckmen as well as Huddo??

Terrible news, though I doubt he would of played AFL this year, it was supposed to be a learning experience playing in the SANFL. Fingers crossed for 2008.

He'll be fine. It's not as much a problem as it seems and he'll be ready to go before the 2008 season, I would think.

Kurt's form with Westies was pretty good for such a young, inexperienced ruckman, so we've got plenty to look forward to with him.

If he was recruited as a forward though let's hope the AFC demand he be played in that position in 2008. If not, move him to another club.
