I'm the first to admit, that I don't follow the young players around Australia closely. Occasionally, I will have a look at the U18's championships.

However...

I thought it would be interesting to have a look at (most of) the Bigfooty Mock Drafts collectively, and have a look at who will be Bigfooty thinks will be drafted in the first round and where.

The process...

Collate the data from the 2012 mock drafts. Add some numbers together and BAM! There's your draft order.

1. GWS - Lachlan Whitfield

(Almost) Universally considered the number 1 draft pick.

2. GWS - Jimmy Toumpas

Yet again; (Almost) Universally considered the number 2 draft pick.

3. GWS - Brodie Grundy

Being rated from around 2 - 5. But pretty clearly number 3.

4. Melbourne - Jonathon O'Rourke

Being rated around 4 - 6. Some have him going at 3.

5. Western Bulldogs - Oliver Wines
Being rated between 4 - 7. A bee's dick between Pick 5 and Pick 6.

6. Western Bulldogs - Sam Mayes
Same as Oliver Wines. Rated between 4 - 7.

7. Port Adelaide - Jake Stringer
Opinion Divider. Rated between 4 - 10.

8. Brisbane Lions - Lachlan Plowman
Will depend entirely upon the teams need. Rated between 6 - 12.

9. Richmond - Jackson Macrae

Similar to Lachlan Plowman. Rated between 6 - 13

10. Essendon - Joe Daniher
Father/Son Selection. Nothing to see here...

11. Carlton - Nick Vlastuin
Things opening up a bit more now. Rated between 9 - 17

12. GWS - Dayle Garlett
Opinion Divider. Rated between 6 - 18

13. Gold Coast - Troy Menzel
Another opinion divider. Rated between 6 - 17.

14. GWS - Taylor Garner
Rated between 9 - 19.

15. North Melbourne - Ben Kennedy
Rated between 14 - 17.
